Jim Steele is one of the best Scuba Instructors in the United States. SF Recreation & Parks is very lucky to have him lead this program. Jim will teach you everything you need to know safely and professionally. Good move SF!

Excellent video Jamie!!! This is the best Rec and Park video I've seen yet. I love how it highlights how incredible our parks, playgrounds, pools, trails, classes, events, concerts, staff, volunteers etc etc are. We are so lucky to live in San Francisco and have all of these wonderful resources, teachers, performers, participants and all of you working so hard for Rec and Park! Thank you!!!!

Corona Heights is the LEAST likely to be foggy, and Mnt. Davidson the MOST likely. And if you can stand 3 blocks of steep city sidewalk, you can walk up to Corona Hts. from Market St,, up 16th, and around steps and path NORTH of the tennis courts below the Randall Museum (a 'kids' science collection and 'bug' zoo, for everyone)

Did the bison ever receive names? I'd love to know what they are! The bison are my absolute favorite thing about San Francisco. I've fallen completely in love with them and visit them as often as possible. I live in Berkeley, but no matter how far I roam (ha), I'll always come back to visit "my" bison. Is there a source of regular news about the bison? I Google them often, but am rarely able to find any new info. Thanks!

@majovijapajo13 жыл бұрын
I hope after the Earthquake retrofit program that Cayuga Park is returned to the public and not turned into a private park. The other park close to us is Alice Chalmers but it is used by a private school during the week and then it is closed on the weekends. Minnie & Lovie park is next closest but its a bit of a walk, although it is a beautiful park. The next park closest is Lincoln park and it is actually in Dalk City. If you folks wanna see a beautiful example of a littl park, this is it.
