Im so sorry for your loss of Spencer....your videos have been helpful to me and thank you for being vulnerable and honest. My husband and I are also in the midst of grieving our beagle furbaby Gomer. Ive done those same things, screamed, sob and stored his collar to preserve his smell among other things. We experienced similar issues with adding a medication that caused horrible side effects with treating seizures being caused by a brain tumor. Although in our situation I dont belive the medication killed him but it certainly took away the quality of life during the trial of getting it therapeutic in his system. I dont feel there are words to descibe the grief adequately but I read somewhere where this heavy grief is a burden of abscence, the abscence of their joy, love , presence and personality being here... We completely rearranged our lives to care for Gomer and he was our child also as we dont have children either. Prayers for you and your family as you go through this journey again.🙏💜🐾

Our Heavenly Father loves you so very much!! Keep your eyes and ears open and your heart focused on His promises because He will consistently deliver His promises to His people! He may not provide them in the way or time we expect, but He will give them! God is behind the scenes working things out. Grieving pets is very different than grieving humans. Not less, not more, but a vibration missed. To me, grief is the loss of apart of my life that I cherished. Each spirit touched my soul differently. I know we will meet again, but am very thankful for the moments shared. 💕

My new friend, I hear your heart and understand what you are saying. You are not alone in your feeling of not being loved for a very long time. I want you to know ...The One who created you wants nothing more than to let His love into your heart. You are loved, cherished, and adored by our Heavenly Father! God loves you so much! What would happen if you believed this to be true? I'm not here to convince you of anything. I want to remind you that you are indeed loved by the greatest! We are spiritual beings here on earth having a human experience... and as you know, humans hurt humans, but some of us, me included, love you and others because we are called to love one another, lift each other up, care for and encourage one another for the greater good as we all try to do our part in living in peace, harmony, and unity. Hi there! I understand your position. There are two different interpretations and options on this topic. From my research, perspective, and understanding, along with knowing God’s character, I believe they do go to heaven. If you’re interested, check out the book called “Heaven” by Randy Alcorn. Oh wow Rachel thank you so much for this video ! 🙏🥰 That was very helpful and insightful. My grief comes in waves exactly like you described. One little thing could remind me of her and I feel like I’m back to square one. I feel her all around me. Energy never dies. You are right! There’s no correct way to do this. Nothing could take away from her legacy. Not the simple colors of the new furbaby’s coat. My connection with Debbie is irreplaceable. I’m trying to view this as rebirth. In the dark times they’re always has to be light and it’s OK to love again. Nothing could take away what me and her had with each other. All of your words means so much to me. I would love to check out your book and I could tell you are extremely educated and passionate about this subject. This really opened my mind and brought great comfort on my journey. @@petlossanddivinehealing Thank you so much Rachel that means so much to me 😊 Debbie was my world and the other half of my soul. She was a black and white piebald dachshund and very fluffy. She was very protective and barked at every single person who came over to the house lol She was the closest to me of all . Yesterday was one of the most difficult days of my life and it’s hard to even be in the house because everything reminds me of her. I do have a specific topic in mind, my parents are already talking about getting another dog and I feel guilty. They want to get one that looks just like her. It doesn’t sit right with me because I want her to have her own legacy. Debbie is irreplaceable. I know that they are going to get a new puppy no matter what and of course I’m not opposed to it because we can’t live without dogs. I just don’t want to feel like we are replacing her. Especially if they get one that looks just like her. How do you think I should go about this?

@@Samanthademarco you were and still are a fantastic momma to Debbie even while she is in heaven! I love how you cherish your priceless relationship with her as you illuminate her legacy! I understand what your heart is feeling and desiring right now. Debbie sounds like she was a beauty queen and the best guard dog around your neighborhood. Your house feeling and sounding empty can be very unsettling, but the memories will keep your heart filled as you learn to adjust to a new normal without her little body there with you and your family. Thank you for sharing your heart; I know this is a tender time for your heart. I will make a video tomorrow on the topic you mentioned.
