Oui vous avez raison j'ai remarqué ce monsieur de par feu mon père qui l'aimait trop. Chaque soir il prenait plaisir à l'écouter sur radio Mali. Nous sommes des banmanans originaire du Mali. Nous vivons au Sénégal. Nous regrettons l'éclatement de la fédération du mali (Soudan et Sénégal).

I don't understand but the rhythm is infectious . Im.afro American slave descendant but I like listening to some Griots , the tone and voice is pleasing and familiar in a weird way

@missbritt288 please sister don’t again refer to our Ancestors with that term. Maybe captives or deportees. They built Nord Tarana (“A⃫m⃫e⃫r⃫i⃫c⃫a⃫”) and Europe. WASP don’t refer to themselves as invaders, colonizers, migrants or immigrants, what they historically are, and most are not descendants of royalty or aristocracy as are many of our people kidnapped and deported there by the barbarians. The invaders renamed Tarana after their Italian forefather Amerigo Vespucci. We are not concerned by this toponym unless we accept accountability for Genocide of the Natives. BA ZOUMANA around 1970 He was 100 + during this recording the song tell the story of a great king Da Monzon Diarra ( Mansong Diarra)a man that was given to the king of Segou (mande empire) at the time as a captive or slave by his uncle because he couldn't pay the taxes to the king he ended up becoming a great general of the army took the power and started the Diarra dynasty until the toucouleur from Senegal invaded then the French. he reigned over Timbuktu and large swat of the mande empire as the bamanan empire Fama.

Oui. Tout jeune, on connaissait, entendait la plupart de ses chansons. Quand les chansons de Bazoumanan passait à la radio au Mali, on se disait toujours que quelque chose d'important allait être annoncée ou que quelque chose de grave venait de se produire. C'était à l'époque de la fédération du Mali et même bien plus tard après la fin de celle-ci (entre le Sénégal et le Mali).

Vous avez tout à fait raison la radio ne passait en continu la musique de Bazoumana sissoko c'est qu'il y a quelque chose d'assez important qui c'était produit et d'ailleurs le jour Modibo keita a été arrêté ça été le cas
