It lacks body and volume. Doesn’t need a curling iron. A blowout with just a boar brush should be easy to do with her hair texture.

I did her hair exactly how she wanted. My client did not request volume and body. I do not use boar brushes.

How do you keep the hair from getting tangled in the brush? I've been blow drying my hair for over 50 years and I STILL can't do it! I love to get my hair done in the salon when they do this! We can never replicate it at home.

I have long hair for the first time in my life. (I'm almost 70!) I lost my hair twice from cancer and it grew back curly. I found if I let it air dry then twist it and put it up in a bun, when I take it down it looks exactly like this. I love it! You styled hers perfectly!

This is fantastic. Can this method work for a beginner braider wanting to braid their 1-2 inch 4b/c hair?
@aleciasavageeduation
@aleciasavageeduation Жыл бұрын
Since the hair is shorter I would suggest using less hair to do a smaller box braid. And blow the hair out before braiding to stretch the hair.

@@msjai803biiihh I use Zury Hollywood braiding hair it comes with 4 bundles in one pack (this the only hair I use). I use about 4 packs. I use 4 strands for my own knotless braids. The thickness of the strands is what will determine how small or large your braid will be. I hope this helps.

Thank you very much ma for the tutorial. It was indeed helpful. I have a question and ur knowledge would go a long way. One of the challenges I face when doing knotless braids is that the root doesn’t lay flat and it has some gaps as well. Is there anything I’m doing wrong??
@aleciasavageeduation
@aleciasavageeduation 2 жыл бұрын
I like to use a more dense edge control. I like Shine Jam: Supreme Hold, this is what I used in the video. Also you want to shape your hair sub-section after applying a little edge control to it before braiding. Divide the sub-setion into 3 parts and then start your braid. I will do another video on this.
