Mate, look up your user manual on google and find out where the blade lock is. All saws have one as you need to be able to lock the blade to change and replace it. Good luck 🤞

Great video! I'm in the same position except that I want to deck over existing sandstone pavers. I assume that the same techniques apply?

When i built my tv stand, i over come the issue of the pocket hole being on the inside of the cross rail by insetting back from the edge if the upright. I used 50 x 80mm for the legs and 25 the cross rails were only 40 mm thick. All made of some really chunky reclaimed railway timbers.

Do I have a van? No Am I getting a van to convert into a camper? No Do I enjoy watching Uncle Knackers making stuff? I certainly do! The build looks fantastic and your son looks well chuffed with the results, the whole series is nicely paced and explained like all your videos, looking forward to the next project! Quick question though, what is the yellow thing on your drill at 5:20?
@diyforknuckleheads

The one about letting the blade stop spinning is paramount in those situations. The wood really does come out of there quick on a kickback. Ive seen it dent steel cabinets. Also useful for any stubborn board. If it felt iffy going down it may be iffy coming up to. Especially if you're cutting a crowned or bent board. Better safe than sorry, stop your blade 😁
