@@rossinaboyerart27 oh awesome! Yes, if you sand it down a bit and then prime, it will last better. Make sure to use fine kind of paper so you don’t scratch it too deep. You can also just prime it, but sanding down is a bit more proper approach. For primer I used 1-2-3 BullsEye. I have tried both ways, it works! Sanding is extra for sure, extra time and mess 😅

@@NatashaKudashkina yes, seeing the blank canvas always makes me nervous that I will some how mess it up. Same when I draw pictures.

@@rmcbeighoh, interesting. I get excited when I see a blank canvas. I wonder how we could change that for you. One thing that I learned overtime is that nothing is a mistake, because art is supposed to be anything. It has always gave me feeling of freedom. Also, if this one doesn’t work out, can always make another one. So the pressure is off, just get crazy with it. I find it liberating when I can do whatever. Maybe try to just go with it make the mess. Could be fun exercise ☺️

@@NatashaKudashkina will have to give it a try I was taught to have a plan. So it would be different.

@@rmcbeighah, yes! So when you have a plan and it doesn’t go according to plan it gets discouraging… but, if you are just going to freestyle without holding back, you never know. You might create something even better than the plan. ✨🎨🌸
