Does the old bushing stay out the housing when driving the new one in ? Sorry having trouble understanding the bushing install part

if this is the case then, wont the vehicle have a bad misfire all the time?? mine has a misfire on 2 cylinder that will not go away even though I've repld the plugs and coils... but it doesn't idle rough all the time...ima try replacing the injectors next

Hey thanks for the video. I have a 07' Ram with a 4.7 same ticking noise a it sputters when I floor it.

Check the lifter, i just found the same thing on my 2000 Durango. Put it back together, rocker came right off. Lifter collapsed. Bought a new lifter, 9 bucks at AutoZone, got it in, used many handy dandy New spring installer rocker tool, yes, when mine came off the keepers on the valve came off also, had to buy new keepers, put air pressure on the cylinder, put it all back together, no more problems.

I have an 04 Ram 1500 4.7, it was losing power at 2,500 rpm's and up, recently it started running really rough at any rpm, misfires and a lot of noise. One mechanic seems to think the timing chain jumped a tooth, very hard to start now as well, but I wonder if this could be the same problem...?

Darn. I hope when I replace my injector that that is my problem on my 4.7 in my 2004 Durango. I have had a cylinder 4 misfire for about a month, and replacing all the plugs and then swapping the coil pack with another cylinder didn't change anything. I also used a multimeter to check all the coil packs while I had them all removed. They all tested perfect. Still a cylinder 4 misfire. About to remove the injectors from the left side of the engine and test that one from cylinder 4 and see if replacing it will take care of the problem. If not I may end up having to look and see if I have the same problem that you had.

my step son's truck run good but it misses when u put in gear/give it gas other wise runs fine. When I had injectors out the intake valve n top of piston had carbon build up I guess maybe valve seal bad

michael what did you pick up....rocker arm? Did the cam come out without taking the sprocket off?

Yes, but it came back out so I think a push rod might be bent or something

2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7 here - same thing but on cylinder 8 - simply picked it up - pushed the spring down and slid it back into place and bingo. Problem solved!

How did you end up mounting your decoys? Just seen the system and threw one together using a window motor today.. First test had trouble getting them in a good flight direction. With a little more trial and error i could probably line them out but just curious??
