My guess as to why they included a frontiers level is because sonic team already had the assets ready and wanted to use it to increase playtime. Otherwise in lore, it would make no sense for it to be there.

One way i think they could have fixed the ghost monika scene and kept it more obscure is block out what she says. Like MC asks her what happen and when she goes to say he can only hear like static or just nothing. Then it would be a situation of if shes real cause it could be his subconscious trying to tell him but because he doesnt know it cant say anything or the ghost of monika trying to tell him but hes not supposed to hear that from her and because of that he cant.

Back again for my semi-annual rewatching of my favorite mod

Wait hold on, Monika used to wake MC up? When I got around to playing, The last thing she said was "Help me" before waking MC up, who doesn't get a text this time around. Actually maybe that might be a good thing. She seemed more worried and regretful in the build of the mod that I played and MC instead goes over to Sayori's because he was overthinking about what happened earlier in the day. Actually wait, her showing up at the hospital made no sense either way. I dont ever remember it being stated anywhere that someone had contacted her. Or maybe her waking MC up has something to do with it?
