I'm thinking your colorful big strawberries fabric would make a beautiful spring pinafore. It makes me think of church picnics. You've got lots of colour choices for tops to go under one. You can match any of those colorful fruits.

Happy New Year. I enjoy listening to your voice. I’m fm Louisiana now living in CA. I have been sewing since a child, but haven’t lately due to a fall resulting in broken ribs an 2 bouts with pneumonia. I’m 88 on the 3rd and managing. I have a large stash but not so motivated at the moment. I’m still recovering my breathing fm the pneumonia. How for good health in 2025.

Gorgeous pique (P-K)! I've traveled and enjoyed European magazines. In Spain and Italy they made short-sleeved little suits with flared skirts. Or rather tailored princess-cut sundresses, either cut slim or with a gathered skirt. This is from the '50's to '80's, old Burda patterns, etc. Pique really isn't hard to sew, and if you get a good fit, you can meet the king in it! P.S. I'm way old in case you couldn't tell! Love you! P.P.S. I have the same thing re eyes only I'm not diabetic. And I could be your mom. I grew up in a faith that relied entirely on God, so no medicine! I could not live it and at 30 I took up with another Christian faith. But I am bothered by the name of the thing, which if you think about it means our eyes are getting worse!!! So I have Macular RE-generation! Sorry if I said this before, but I think it does bear repeating. I'm at 8 weeks, 20/20 on one eye and 20/100 on the special one (the other eye is jealous of all the attention he gets!). Happy New Year!

I remember wearing pique (PeK) dresses when I was younger! I don’t think they were easy to iron!😊

I use my glue stick to stick my PDF patterns together. You should try that. I heard you just said you use q glue stick. I have to use Elmer's washable school glue and that holds my PDFs together.
