Why do all the videos I watch on trout fishing do they cast mepps or panther- martin lures upstream? You do that with flies. Cast your lures down stream!!

hey man, just found your channel again and i truly enjoy your content. You seem like a cool dude with the same love for fishing i do. I was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer back in october of this year and havent done much trout fishing this year. im just 48 years old and have many more days on the trout stream ahead. loved your segment on jesus christ. I have caught a lot of fish in my time, never a brown and I would be over the top if I got one half that size! Nice!!!! Waiting for the snow to melt here in the PNW so I can hopefully catch a brown trout soon. There’s huge rainbows in the lake I’m going to also….. it’s going to be a wet fly / rapala weekend…. With some beer drinking too😊

Panther Martin quality has dropped pass couple years after 2-3 fish that wire is bent to shit and lure doesn’t function properly
