I researched this product...alot. I got told that desalination was the only way to cause my cronic salt problem in my bore. They told me this would not work. Despite the positive feedback i had seen it put me off. After a chat with a carefree rep..I bought one. It is brilliant! I use it in my Aquaponics, Pig pen, chook pen and the main purpose on my market garden of veg. This is a lifesaver. It's also a thousand times cheaper than a desal plant. Thanks Carefree..solved a huge problem for me. I'd give this 10 out of 5 stars. It's really good. I am totally independant of these guys. Scepticle...always...but not about this..it works.

Have you checked the value of total hardness in ppm before and after treatment? Is it effective for large scale agriculture water system?

Still yet to see any comments on the carefree units. Only ads like this..does it work..any scientists back this..th

Everyone i talk to says this is a scam. The only thing that removes salinity is reverse osmosis.

With respect John, I wonder if anyone you have spoken to has tried one of our conditioners for themselves. We are an Australian business operating since 1980, and have thousands upon thousands of happy customers, so I like to think we are doing something right or we should have been out of business long ago. I will point out that we do not claim to remove salinity from the water. However if a farmer has no choice but to irrigate with a saline bore water supply, we do prevent the salt building up in the soil. Incidentally our conditioner has a Soil Desalination Patent in Australia, amongst others. @@carefreewater hi, i think that went the wrong way. I spent literally hours going through the internet, talking to science teachers and looking for any outside evidence. I came across a water company doubting the item. A bloke Paul Stuart ..i think? He said he did a 500 page thesis on the care free product and it works 100%. Others were using salt tolerant grass. Another on youtube said he still had leaf burn. I dont support these adverse reports but I usually research things and was miffed at the lack of info other than on your website. I have already sent an email to you guys..not sure if i sent my water report..but sara suggested size CF15M11. Im more concerned with killing my plants n giving our pigs ulcers tbh. Im still waiting for a reply after being asked...what application do I have. Also i need an earth kit apparently. I dont know which one? But i do have power at the site and am using 1/14 inch poly pipe. Im near Bundaberg btw.
