I am still coming again and again to this performance, even after all this years. Grisha, you play the guitar the way it's meant to be played. I would love to play this piece as fluently as you. The tremolo, the picado, all is spot on and, at the same time, so russian :)

Thanks very much Grisha! All that information was very helpful, especially on your nail care. As I am getting older my natural nails are no longer serving me well and I think it's time to consider a different solution. I am a steel string finger style player and steel strings are very hard on my nails. I will try the nails you have suggested and the adhesive. Thanks again for being so very kind in sharing great tips that you have learned along the way. Your playing is superb and quite inspiring!

Joseph Trotter transcribed this work and others on Flamenco Puro many decades ago. Trotter did an excellent job. Just read the score and there's no need for this "monkey see, monkey do" approach.
