Eafengrow make great budget knives. I have an EF-123 fixed blade and I carry an EF-238 folder..for the price you cant go wrong imo.

I like Eafengrow knives...for the price they are decent budget knives and they seem to be well made.

The pivot screw on these tends to get loose every time you open and close it over and over

you upgraded it, the double safety it a redundancy, and unless you abuse it to the point the liner lock fails it is concidered by some to be a nuicance

Two of my favorites. Carried the Cryo for 9 straight years, then the Civivi for almost two years till recently. TACKNIFES has replaced them both with no looking back! For the same price range it is a way better, smoother functioning knife!

Been using one for 20 years. It's one of my "affordable" knives, and so became my go-to hard use/ abuse knife. The steel is a little soft, but if you know how to sharpen it's really a great knife for the price. I love the flipper action

@knivesgadgetsmore I ended up disassembling and made an adjustment. The safety is held in either position by a small ball bearing. I adjusted the piece holding the bearing and it now engages well

I have the same one in the same color and I love it. I do wish it had a longer runtime in the low 50 lumen mode. I also wish it was USB TYPE C and not the standard (old) USB for charging.

The CRKT M16-10KS (or KZ) is the perfect little EDC. The combination of the semi-serrated blade and the tanto tip really worked for a wide range of stuff. I used the serrations to strip wires and the tip to scrape gaskets. As a mechanic who is frequently in the junkyard I'm interested in carrying as few tools into the desert as possible, it just makes sense. I've regularly had to saw through battery cables, wire harnesses, radiator, vacuum hoses, fuel and brake lines (even metal lines), pry off valve covers or old rusty water pumps, cut through electrical loom or carpet to get to the parts that I wanted...and damn that little knife is an extension of my hand. The shape of the handle gives you a little recess where the serrations are so while closing the knife you can get a bunch of leverage and guillotine through really tough small diameter stuff, and the liner lock jimping kinda holds it there...which I seriously doubt the designers intended, but I found useful countless times. I found the blade size to handle ratio to be practically perfect for disappearing into the corner of my pocket. Super light weight, scalpel precision. I used to buy them 2 and 3 at a time, and the last time I bought any was a lot of like 10 on ebay. I've had all the variations of the small-frame M16 and they're all fantastic. I've never broken one, but I've lost and/or given away a whole bunch of them. Every one of them gets the same treatment. I punch out or grind off the detent that keeps the blade closed and put some locktite on the main screw at just the right tension so the blade would flip out with a slight flick of the wrist but wouldn't open under it's own weight. Some of them come with a weird safety mechanism that goes straight into the trash first thing. Absolutely delightful little beast of a knife. I just bought 2 more!

I've been carrying this exact model for over three years. Lost the first one...super bummed...got a second, and it's exactly as the one I had initially. Consistency at any price point can be iffy...but at the $45-ish price range, consistency like this is unheard of in most products! I bought my wife the D2 blade model, with G10 scales, and the thumb slide lock (I can't remember what it's called!) and even in her small hands, she can wield it easily. She does loads of crafts, and uses it frequently...blade is as sharp as day one. Plus, I feel safer knowing she has it on her. I ordered the Rose Damascus a couple days ago, and should have it tomorrow. I've owned at least one example of the big name brands...Spyderco, Benchmade, Kershaw, Buck, Gerber, SOG, CRKT...a few others over the years. I've carried this the last three years because it's out performed all those others in edge retention, ease of sharpening, light for it's size and shape, comfort, and it looks super cool. Just my two cents, but I can't say enough about how impressed I am by CJRB. I'll save up for an Artisan soon. Maybe that'll outshine my Crag, but anything will be hard pressed to replace my favorite EDC.

Why do some You Tubers present 'unboxing and review' videos of equipment they have never handled before? This does not know how to access all he gadgets, except by trial and error - on camera - and he mistakes a stylus for a 'spare pen'. As for reviewn - he just says its cool. No comparison with like products. No evaluation. No good.

I thought I lost my Baton, I had my truck up on ramps for an oil change, it fell out of my pocket and when I rolled back off the ramps I ended up parking my truck on top of it. Stayed that way overnight on my gravel driveway. Aside from a few light scuffs, worked perfectly fine and I use it to this day. Wouldn't buy anything else after that.
