WOW that is a very impressive collection the years and time it took not to mention MONEY

The photography isn't quite good enough here to see if the LH side Zenor diode is missing, but it would be a pretty good indicator something was amiss if a JPN bike didn't have that. Appears to be missing the original headlights, too. For 37K I hope somebody got what they thought they were buying.

Well I have ridden them both back in the days when they were new (and I was a bit more of a fresh faced young lad!) Of course, with no silencers they really barked, but for a 16 year old that sounded great (to me, not to my grandparents!) Both piston port engines which delivered just about as much power as the suspension could handle. My recollection is that the Cappra made a slightly more competitive MX bike than the Stiletto. Great condition! Nobody is EVER going to ride these in a vintage race!

Fiberglass looks good. That's the hard part. I had one of those and raced it on TT tracks against a BUNCH of Bultacos, which were dominant at the time.

I'm a year late, but I bought a Hodaka 250 T-dog new. That one looks pretty mint - the tank stickers show wear in the first couple riding hours . The 250 was a new design...pretty sure it didn't share any parts with previous models.

Doesn't the water from a hose damages the electric work? I've been extremely cautious of using the hose but then it takes me a long time to clean this bike

Victoria purchased engines from a number of producers and this was a new bike and they went to BMW to get one of their engines to use in it. This produced a whopping 6HP. The engine had some deficiencies when used in a motorcycle as it had not been designed to be used that way, it was used to power factory machinery. After the first year, they went back to BMW and asked them to fix some problems. BMW said no, so Victoria designed their own version of the engine and fixed the problems for the next year and dropped this engine.

Thanks for the video, just picked up a 1974 RT340 in pretty good condition. I think I have the year right. Just wondering if yours is a 1973 or 1974 ? Video title says 1973, audio says 1974.

Dumb question but…Do you need a motorcycle license to drive these?
@OldMotoDude-TheOriginal Жыл бұрын
It probably varies from State to State. This is an interesting question as many states used to based the requirement on CC's. Since electric motorcycles don't have cc's there will need to be a different basis for the requirement. Not a dumb question at all.

Great post! Reminds me of a movie, I recently watched call the fastest Indian with Anthony Hopkins! True story about Burt Munro from Australia, who modified an Indian motorcycle from the 1920s to set land speed records at Bonnieville, over 200 miles an hour! A record for a 1,000 cc machine. The last I heard the record still stands! Great movie!

Mike is the biggest poser out there only reason the real bike guys are on the show is the money because Mike is a buyer and seller ,never done any work on a motorcycle in his life. No mechanical skills whatsoever.
