can i use e90 steering rack with your module in totally different body(JDM) or this module ONLY for bmw E9x E8x?

You can use this electric steering rack on whatever chassis with this module in case you can install it in a proper way. And please keep in mind that E9x steering rack has to be located in front of the subfrabe not behind it like on most of the JDM cars :)

Ok.. so i have a question before wasting more money.. Electronic steering is not the problem. My 2017 230i and 16' f80 m3 both have electronic steering And using the LIGHTEST setting wich is comfort, car is reeeally good to drift.. self leveling is really good! Compared to the 120d i have now. Where selfleveling is totally gone. I have no feel for what car is doing. I PERSONALLY think it has something to do with the caster angle! Flat caster angle will still be a problem even with EPS module.. I see everyone has the eps module with drift angle kit.. makes me believe the self leveling issue allteasy is eliminited there So... what is the eps module for then?? I hope WF crew can give me a proper answer All i want is to feel what my 1 series is doing while drifting. And i sont think eps module is the solution with stock front end

120d has electric steering which is why there is lack of self steer. This module will probably fix that issue. Assuming 120d does in fact have an electric rack. If not then it is an alignment issue.

@@ForzaDriftManyou are correct. It has electric steering.. but so does all M/// series and and many other newer bmws like 1/2/3 series and they are all supercapable of drifting with electric rack Thats why i dont believe its cuz of the rack. But lack of caster

The lack of self steer in E8X and E9X is not so much related to electric or non-elctric steering racks. If you drive any stock European E9X BMW's without knowing is this model equipped with electric or non-electric rack you actually don't make difference. The self steer issue in case of E8X and E9X is often related to caster and toe settings (at least with Wisefab kits). We recommend minimum 6deg of caster but most pro drivers are using 9deg or even more. Also often a slight "toe out" is used to make the car a bit snappier. Long story short... The "EPS module" just brings the BMW rack alive so it can be used outside the OE electronics circuit on any engine/chassis swaps. It also eliminates variable speed steering and replaces it with a three-stage selection (light, medium, heavier).
