do you know how important your actual art skills are in a level? i know this question sounds silly but ive chosen art however my actual skill is really not that good. my teacher assessed grade for gcse is a 9 and im waiting for my actual grade, but i think ive only gotten this grade becasue of my annotations and ideas, rather than my ability to draw well. do you think i would be able to get through a level like that? im not awful at drawing but i would say my skills were near the bottom of my class
@rosenmoons2 жыл бұрын
my parents say im just feeling insecure and i wouldnt have gotten a 9 if i was that bad but im not sure

you should still do it tbh because throughout the two years of doing art you will improve

Hi. This is urgent. So in a levels do we really have to make up our own topic idea and not copy others ideas or can two people have the same topic like is it alright to do so?

Your room is so perfect!I envy u so much!😍😍It has independent bathroom and nice window view.😍😍I'm a new undergraduate of St Mary’s this year and moved in my dorm room at Williamson Building just two days ago.Unfortunately I failed to get an en-suite room… I'm really not used to public bathroom cuz I'm not sure if it can be kept tidy and clean all the time.😔And my room is far away from bathroom so I have to walk through the whole corridor to get there…I think it's quite awkward to be seen wearing pajama or bathrobe the way to take a shower.😩What's worse,my room is located in the ground floor,facing to the slope in front of Fergusson Building,and close to the gate of south east wing,so there is sound of passersby and even cars out of my window every day,which makes me feel lack of sense of security. And it's much smaller than I expected…I used to think the size of it could be as big as what is shown on matterport…Right now I'm racking my brain thinking about how to maximize it as much as possible.Generally speaking I'm rather disappointed at my room.

i’m starting A level art after wasting a year doing another subject. i did Art at GCSE and got a 9 but i didn’t pick it for A level bc at GCSE it brought me a lot of stress. so i picked psychology but now i’ve dropped it. NOW i need to do a year’s worth of work in 2 months😐😐
@CarinaMae3 жыл бұрын
Hi Katrina, based on the amount of work I did in my first year of a level I wouldn't be too worried! If you enjoy art I'd recommend spending the summer challenging yourself to create things you love and I'm sure you'll be able to bring it together!

@yorkielover26763 жыл бұрын
Hmm well I don't do A Level yet, but what are you specifically struggling with. I get you when you say there's a lot of work, i think that you just need to do what you can in smaller parts, i feel like ppl overwhelm themselves thinking about it, but maybe thinking about it in parts can help. Like assuming you have to do 4 different pages in your book, with different drawings, writing, etc. Maybe starting with getting the writing and photos organized before can help you to have an idea of what you are gonna draw or paint, etc. with the ideas part.. i mean.. there's nothing wrong with using the internet as inspiration, like there's a lot of different vids and images out there. Idk if this rly helped. Good luck though

Hungary is not a kingdom since 1945, so the Buda Palace not hosting of any king or queen. In the WW2 the palace damaged very badly, then renovated and became a National Galery, a library and a Budapest Historical Museum. This didn"t mean the building not the Palace, we all calling that building "Palace" and never "Galery". The Mathias Church and Fishermen Bastion is a medieval complex, locating in the Palace district but definately not Palace...Great vlog, thanks.

What's the difference between a level art and level 3 art x?
@CarinaMae3 жыл бұрын
Not entirely sure, sorry!
@3eromosele Жыл бұрын
level 3 art is btech which is what i’m doing so it’s more coursework based and you have two exams in the first year whilst art would be a-level - my teachers told me that a level art is more demanding than btech

Hi, I did a lot of my art coursework in the evenings whilst watching TV at the time of day when you wouldn't necessarily be wanting to do 'book work' but you could still do a lot of drawing etc. Honestly, it was very intense and a big time commitment and you do have to be willing to invest that time if you're going to do art
Hi Joseph, a lot of these piece weren't necessarily from other individuals but as part of the mark scheme you need to have it all linked back to artists, so, even where they didn't influence it, I found a link. Even so, it is only natural that when learning you get inspiration from artists.

What is a level ...?
@CarinaMae4 жыл бұрын
Hi Abigail, A Levels are one of the most common qualifications taken by British students between the ages of 16-18. Most students take three A Level subjects across the two years and these are examined at the end of the second year. The resulting grades can then be used to get a place at university or help determine your career options.
