Who wants to mix at the back of the speakers?

Honestly, I was in the market for the JBL but I seriously started to reconsider when the RCF came up. The JBL is very midrangy. It might sound fat when you're in the same room but rather dull as well. If that's the "warmth" people are talking about then it's likely not for me. There's so much more detail coming from the RCF compared to the other two speakers, it's quite astonishing.

I have Dali oberon 7 speakers with a Cambridge Audio amp and together they sound amazing. I've been trying to justify these at a grand but with current savings i really am hovering over the buy button.

io 8 have no concurrent in their price range. Soundwise they can compete with headphones almost double the price. Controll- wise the only product that come close is the io12:)Ps: the oval shape earpads look stupid! All true high end Hi-fi headphones have round earpads !

You honestly and you sharing of you experience as a person who knows about sounding quality is very appreciated for me thank you. Now the reason I’m writing is because I’m ready to buy my pairs of headphones and I can’t decide yet which one to buy. 1- Mark Levinson 5909 2- Dali io-12 3- the new B&O h100 At first when I saw you videos about the you 5909 I was sure that will be my first nice and good sound quality headphones, but then I saw the video where you was comparing the 5909 whit the Dali io-12 and I thought wait a minute now I’m a not sure which one because I want the best of the best if I’m paying a price like that. Now whit the new B&O h100 whit all new technology I’m very interested whit the new space technology but still my priority is sound quality. I’m living in Canada buy the way and the city I live in there is not one store that they have those kind of headphones, so I can’t go and give it a try to listen to them. I have to order buy internet so I want to be sure to get the best one. I’m being doing my search to have the best information about them and I founded you videos very honestly opinion about those headphones. Thanks you. Now the question is which one I buy…?

I'm very surprised to hear that you're not testing the new Dali's because you don't like the look. Hadn't expected that. Especially since you were so outspokenly enthusiastic about the different models until now. The io-8 is much better built than the io-6 and has a completely different sound profile. Also sounds different, warmer, than the io-12 Personally, I think the comfort of the newcomer is excellent but that's personal, of course. And I'm sure the anc of the Dali's could be even better but probably more than good enough for most users. So too bad you've decided beforehand that the latest Dali adds nothing new. Think this is a mistake. But of course I also understand that you have to make choices and cannot buy everything without question. Just fully expected that after your favourite, the io-12, you would also be curious about the latest model. Anyway, good luck with everything else you are going to test :)

I'd like to demo these (h100) soon but I doubt they'll be replacing my io12's

the interesting point for comparing io-8 to io-12 (at least for me) is that they don't use SMC driver like io-12, but another, cheaper, celuloze one. I just have to try them to hear what exactly SMC brings in for io-12

Well thank you for this, not at all impressed with B&O they are just an over priced brand that for some reason is still hanging on in the headphone world, their ANC is nothing special along with anything else it brings. They have become quite unreasonable with their pricing. I am still loving my Levinsons thanks to you and the ANC is stellar and so luxurious and the leather cups oooohh so lovely. Apple max (ANC the best I have ever heard along with the transparency mode) for my audio books and the Levisons for my music . I hope you still love them. You are so honest in your reviews.

Mobile/wireless gear is very niche. People buy it, understanding the trade off. Sometimes a ‘one box’ solution, with lesser performance is exactly whats required. Carrying cables and power stations is not the solution they seek. The EV is a niche product. It’s not for most, but it’s ideal for many.

I was able to compare 945A vs 745A MK5... O boy... 745 kicke ass of 945. they're much louder and durable. 945 when heated just turn down the volume and definition of sound on 745 are better,you can fell that right away. I have no clue why are 945 so expencive and performance is dissapointing at that preice tag.

Tryed them ALL... NX45, 745 MK5 and HDM45A. From all 3, the NX45 is the worst. Here's why. It's the same speaker as 945A with a wooden box. When It overheats the volume is turned lower,the bass is being "cut off" and It can really overheat,that's for sure. The 745A MK5 is the beast, It performs apsolutelly great even louder than NX45 and is more durable to handle long term high volume. But... HDM45A eats both of them for brekfast. It's just another dimesnion, TT25 in plastic box. I've been Dynacord and EV user and fan for roughly 20 years,spent a lot of money on these 2 companies but RCF is now THE best producer for It's money. I'm shocked how the engineers made so good sound and so powerfull speakers. Every cent spent on RCF is worth It. That I can't say for Dynacord,ElectroVoice,JBL and FBT.

I used one odio 30 pro for 2 years and i bought sonoflow recently and im not surprised at all.. my one odio i much better musch louder and the base is much stronger And the one odio is 30 dollar less…

For me Solitaire T+A is the one.

It's not a bad speaker (it sounds better than Soundboks 4) but too expensive for an 12" battery speaker. Just buy an ZLX 12 G2 and plug it into an power station, you will have a much longer runtime and more SPL. It's only worth it if you can't take a power station for one reason or another .

The P100s do have to be powered on to use the USBC 3.5 jack. Great headphones though for the price.

Hi Opaz. Super helpful video. My wife and I are singer songwriters. We play outside a lot, like fall festivals back yard parties and porch fest. We are running rfc subs and Mackie SRM-V tops but it's a beast of a set up. We are 61 years old. Sometimes we play indoors like living room shows. I would really like a more consolidated set up. I'm on analysis overload right now. Any suggestion on an array that's good enough for outdoor use but an easier set up than 2 subs, tops, stands and a mixer? Oh, and doesn't sound like crap! ha
