So on my right unit, I can only pull from the tube or if I remove the tube, the spray bars work and the Bio-Wheels spin. I removed the impeller, seemed fine, all is clean, but I can't have both! The left unit works fine, same media in both!

11:30 pm last night woke to a hellacious racket. Worked on it too late in the evening. Cleaned the impeller, didn't even notice that at the very end of its travel, the 'vanes' at the end of the magnet assembly just barely touch the 'vanes' on the impeller assembly. I know it's supposed to float some but that's too much. Those vanes probably got too worn on the end. I saw your video this morning, thought Jason got something good going on here. I superglued the [censored] magnet assembly to the [censored] impeller assembly. Boom. Suminabeach it works just fine. The whole assembly still floats up and down on the axle so it can align itself properly in the motor and get back to WORK. Dude. Bro. Thanks.

Its your fusible links on top of the battery. If one is loose or broken inside the black covers with the amps numbers on it. You may have to change the whole board out. Everything ties to it the starter lights in the dash and transmission

Resolved problem. It’s your fuse box battery terminal.

You just saved me 💯 bucks thank you I appreciate the video i was able to separate the steel shaft in the impeller and use a tiny piece of left over new yellow gas line tubing from when I do maintenance on my yard equipment I had to put the piece of gas line tubing on top of the impeller shaft I did it on the bottom didn’t work guess it threw off the magnetic force but it’s working perfect right as this moment thanks to your video 👏 much appreciation

Mr. Coleman I have an Emporer 400 in my 90 gallon piranha tank. I have been battling this for two plus years. I'm always finding small snails plugged in bio wheel tubes. I never had a problem with the spinning of the propeller and the tab is locked properly. I super glued the propeller to the plastic piece so the plastic piece is weighted down and rides on the bottom of the housing. It's the best it has ever worked. Thank you Your new friend David

Ayyyy, I knew it was an impeller problem but couldn't find a video with all the info I needed to fix it until this one. Instead of glue I ended up taking a tiny little 1/2 rubber band people use in their hair and put it at the top of the impeller blades, against the stem, under the top most piece. Kinda a make shift rubber seal to keep the the impeller blades locked to the bottom spinning mechanism; what you did but only securing from the top instead of the bottom. I was to impatient to let the glue dry and didn't have any nontoxic on hand. THANK YOU, this part of the filter hasn't worked for over a year and I've had to compensate in other high maintenance ways. You offered one solution but conveyed enough info so that others can extrapolate what they need to customize their fix. Appreciate ya.

The "propeller" (or prop), is found on an airplane, an impeller moves water. Just so you know. 😘 Good instructional! *Also, the little black nipple on the top of the rod that goes through the impeller comes off if you need it to.

You are the man I've suspected an impeller problem for years. It takes hours of trying to purge all the air to stop the noise even with enough flow. I would give up for months and get lucky after trying again but it wouldn't last. It was difficult when new 4yo but would work itself out. I even replaced the impeller with a new one with same issue.

Those spray bars often get clogged with junk from the tank water that bypasses the filters. You can take them off and run a test tube brush through them to clear blockage. My impeller is making some serious racket now. Decided to read the instructions. Says I'm supposed to clean monthly. LOL. I've never cleaned it. Gonna try that. Thanks for the video showing how to get to it.

I bought one of these brand new, and took it apart because the spray bar wasn't putting out water other than immedately after i fill the back of the filter with water. I was going to glue the impeller after watching yur video, but it seems like the impeller on my filter is already stuck together at the seem you glued so i didn't think glueing it would fix anything. This is a brand new filter but not working correctly, Idk if the intake tube is not inserted correclty, or wtf is going on. buy something brand new and take it out of the box and it's already not working:(

I had to do some body work on one that was in an accident. I can't get the driver side window to work, back up camera won't work, nor does the air work. The radio works but the screen is flickering. Also, the radio doesn't cut off when door is opened when the car is off. I've taken it to the dealer and another mechanic shop. They can't figure it out.
