We had issues with birds because they were pecking through the VentureClad foil with their beaks

This is a step=down from the accuglide 4. Lots of plastic parts used, and a lot of the bearings give out prematurely.

I look forward to using this product and props to whom ever engineered this for us. I sincerely hope that it works as nice as scene on the video and more importantly, holds up over time.

Anyone else have trouble installing this getting bubbles,wrinkles etc. Also was working a roof where it was windy as hell

This stuff is garbage. Light hail storm ruined it within a few months of installing. No other damage anywhere except on this aluminum foil garbage.

That detachment mechanism is amazing. I wonder how they have made it possible and what would happen when that adhesive is applied onto a compliant adherend instead of the stiff one like the acrylic sheet in the video.

One of the things I despise about 3M is their deceiving marketing. The key is in the shape of the coupling, most of the sheer force is being pushed outward against the walls in that channel. Yes, this glue is pretty impressive, but no.. it does not literally hold up a container filled with concrete.

Bought this stuff. Extremely expensive, and everytime I have something that I want to separate again, I end up getting the glue side detached instead of the dual lock itself. Disappointment.

This is somewhat helpful for first time users, but there are a couple of important points that aren't addressed: If you are using 3/4" tape, the second spoked retainer on the supply reel must be removed before the tape is installed. Then place it on top of the tape roll, sandwiching the tape between the two black plastic reels. The video is good for installing 1/2" tape, but it ignores the importance of the second spoked retainer. Also, the end of the tape should be secured in the slots on the take-up reel, not just stuck to the reel hub with the tab of adhesive on the end of the tape. That is a more positive way of insuring that the tape will not slip on the take-up reel.

I expected more from 3M than this... honestly you guys expect people to overfill joints like this? There is way too much caulk in there and the caulk was never slicked to form a concave joint. Caulk works a certain way and you totally bypassed it with this video. Caulk too deep for width. No clicking, corners not finished. Please step the game up.
