I would say they're pretty close once you get your hands on both the games. Even though 5th is 'slower' in physical terms.. there's always going to be just as hectic of a pace in the actual match.. PLUS arguably more important, APM is equal or debatably higher than fA.

It runs like shit. Runs about the same as DS1. PS3 port is horrifically optimized and that bleeds over onto the emulator. My R7 7700X is about as top-of-the line as you can get and I'm getting nowhere near a locked @60. It's not an impossible game to run to get more frames than real hardware however. Ryzen 5s and like maybe 10thgen Intels are your baseline for that. Just hard to get a *stable* framerate because PS3 never gets this either. What's your CPU?

Partially. Conquest Mode servers, along with the patch verification server, shut down at the end of March. Free Battles are still possible on real hardware, albeit with the launch balance. This can be worked around through mods, the EN community uses a modded version that restores the balance patches, played on the RPCS3 PS3 emulator for PC.

Yeah, it's MAD freaky. Feels like I'm in bizarro land playing the game like this Technically, these games *are* stable on both Xenia and RPCS3 at least crash-wise. The description has a place where you can grab crash-resistant (modded lol) versions of the games for that purpose. The FPS though, I don't think it'll improve a whole lot in the future. These games are badly optimized, on good rigs you can hit a consistent locked 30fps in most areas, but 60fps is a far-and-away dream. Plus, being a FS title all the game mechanics are tied to the framerate and promptly do not function as intended when doubling the FPS. Same deal as DS1 PTDE and 4thgen and all-that. Sucks.

Uncharted runs very well, hits a locked 60 I believe. I could record something of the sort if you still want that, though. Code Veronica, though? That's a PS2 game right? It runs perfectly on way weaker hardware on PCSX2, just get the Nightly builds.

@@ViewerDnB If you're looking for a RPCS3 upgrade R7-series is a surefire shot. If you're in the US I'd look for those MicroCenter bundles. TMX is considered one of the hardest games to run and my 7700X runs it without a sweat - You'll basically be able to run anything that's emulatable on the thing. Highly recommend.

Currently I play NCAA 14 revamped on my PC with no performance issues. However the sound is bad choppy. I wonder if this update will fix this issue.

​@@ChrisJones-fl4xk This update really just seems to be stabilizing frametimes rather than giving an actual net performance improvement, so it may help. If I were you, I'd look into two settings: SPU Loop Detection in CPU, and playing with the Audio Buffering slider.

Yep! You can hold it infinitely! And while the Online version *did* have a plentiful amount of changes, this actually exists in the Singleplayer component too! It's hard to explain, but the quick and easy way is to just press your shoulder buttons together while charging. If you're interested in learning this or any other mechanics, I'd *highly* reccomend checking out the Black Online Bible, it's actually the first video in the playlist on my page if you're curious. This game has a lot of very intentional mechanics that are just left unexplained for the player to find on their own terms, that video sums up virtually all of it. Very, very good source.

As the description shows, I haven't touched RK in a good long time actually. I could be wrong (again the Bible knows more than me), but my inputs to hold the charge are L2 (special) > R2 > R1 > L1

​@@Podjie yeah 4th gen is too fast, i think the AC series always had an element of strategy to it, from the loadouts to positioning to how you handle the weapons, 4th gen is so fast that you can only rely on your muscle reflexes and that just sucks.

@@lelagrangeeffectphysics4120 Fifth gen required more skill than it's given credit. It required environmental awareness, EN management, and targeting. I don't think any other gen really compares. I think V just got a bad rap because it was such a transition off of IV.

As of now... it isn't lol. It may be possible to just mod in tuned stats in the future, but for now there's no tuning.
