I've never made sourdough starter before, I'm very intrigued after watching this video. I have Pamela's brand gluten free bread flour, do you think that will work ? Thank you 😊

You need a single whole grain flour, not a blend that contains starches & other ingredients.

When you are establishing a new starter you cannot use the discard. It is not active yet.

I just want to say that, as someone who knows nothing on the matter, it is impossible for dogs to detect gluten.

So how sensitive is the dog? I assume you can also train a dog to peanuts, etc.

Yes, there are a wide variety of dogs that do scent detection work for medical reasons & also non-medical reasons. Their noses are amazing. Yes, they can be trained for peanuts & most allergens as well as blood sugar & heart monitoring, all by scent.

My dog only does gluten but you can definitely train for more than one scent.

Awesome video. Thank you. I stated the olive oil only so far. Tried to add the fish oil but my son might of had a bad reactions. He got very upset 2 days into it. So I stopped... someone mentioned a possible histamine reaction but I am not sure.
