Hello, your video is very interesting and thank you for sharing it. I am writing to you because I need some guidance because I have a problem that has me a little confused. I have a 2002 AUDI A4 quattro 1.8, my car overheated and I saw that the fans were stopped (it moved suddenly). I did a test on the fans directly from the battery and they work well, after this test it is most likely the fan control module. I bought one on Amazon, connected it and it only worked for 35 minutes. Then I did a search and they recommended another one which I bought and installed, I turned on the air conditioning in the car and nothing happened! I checked a relay that goes under the steering wheel (# 3) which is from the fan control module and it is fine, I also checked the fuses and everything is fine. In the connector where the fan control module goes (purple color) there is voltage 12-13 volts in the pair of contacts. I honestly don't know what other check to do before returning this fan control that I bought. If you could give me a hand with this problem I would really appreciate it.

Question: so I have a crank no start situation. Low and high pressure pump replaced. Well the low pressure psi is 40 from the low pressure pump and 40 psi at the Hpfp output. Is this an ecu issue and should the voltage on the hpfp be a constant voltage?

Thank you for the simulation. However its not explained if this mechanism is working while shifting or not. I have 2010 E60 and it clunk whenever it shift. I want to know if this could be a transfer case or its not possible. Thanks

So find a way to disconnect or eliminate the TC. Then see if it keeps clucking.

I have a 2014 bwm 535i pump virtually stays on. It like stuck in purge mode. Anytime you open the hood trunk or door the pump comes on. It runs all night till battery dies.when you open the door and it come on it goes off briefly when you turn the ignition on. It usually come on then goes off a while the come back on and repeats this loop. Any ideal what wrong

I lean towards a ground problem, believe it or not. Issues of unrelated components you need to ask yourself, what's common in these situations. Answer is GROUND.

STA509A cost a bucket load, love this video it gives me so many options. additionally if someone wanted to do this, they could buy the much cheaper and higher rated part the STA508A which has a higher current rating and because no one searches for it because it rarely blows, its typically a few dollars.

In my case the problem (very persistent oil pressure warning on idle sometimes with miss fire on all cylinders but not always) was dirty vvt adjuster/magnet! Litle bit of parts cleaner sprayed in each hole and problem is solved!!!
