IMHO the best soundtrack from this anime, at 0:46 goosebumps every time you listen to it I still don't understand why this masterpiece in the dark fantasy genre, with blood and gore, the best drama I've ever seen, didn't get a 2nd season. But the Goblin Slayer, which is 3 heads lower in quality in exactly the same setting (dark fantasy with blood and gore), gets a 2nd season.

This reminds me of one of my rat companions, or well, "pet rats", as they say. He was a true saint of rats, a pilgrim who was with us for a time. Always so happy to see me when I came back from work, yet he kept some distance so I wouldn't get too attached to him, but followed my own path instead, like he too did. More evolved than even most of the spiritual humans out there, he was, and is. Be well, wherever you are now, my friend.

I am not a fan of Dark Fantasy, but I really like this anime. Apart from the bad ending, it has almost everything good, and of course, the music is also very good.
