An ad designed to induce donation/investment. I know this relatively new planting idea, but I found this video unhelpful for DIY or even explaining the idea. Note: A polluting (gas) car company gets a pass if it funds this project, government's "solution". Love the product, hate the politics!

Compensation is giving right to planet destroyers to continue, but with a green label. We HAVE TO STOP THEM to destroy our habitat, or humanity will disapear. Not reduce of half. *"Compensation" systems are juste a bullshit stuff invented to change nothing.*

Dear Sir, Madam, This Plant Cocoon does look a lot like the Waterboxx (invented by the late Pieter Hoff). Is the cardboard Cocoon much more affordable then the WaterboXX? Thank you.

I agree. DIY instructions for distributed individual tree planting on every concrete town square and back garden is needed. Bio diversity loss is fueling the "climate crisis"... Not the other way around and blaming co2 is a logical fallacy... We have a destruction of nature by the same governments who now wish to " tax the slaves own air" after they have already captured the water, the land, and the mind.

This ecosystem just needs mega herds of properly managed livestock to make the 4 ecosystem functions work again. This approach of planting trees is not a sound scientific approach to restore degraded brittle ecosystems.
@viharsarok

Much better than nothing. Why do you think it needs large herds of cattle? China has reforested large territories without any livestock.

@@viharsarok Hello, this is because grasses are what keeps the ground stable and covered in brittle environments (meaning seasonal humid environments), and grasses needs grazing animals to thrive and not die and to reproduce in brittle environments. Trees or forests without grasses only do well in high rainfall humid environments where the 4 ecosystem process dont depend on grasses to function well, here there is no treat of fire and tree will reproduce on their own. To learn more about this new ground breaking science, including word like brittle environments and 4 ecosystem process, study Allan Savorys work, it is what we have needed so far to be able to do serious regeneration of this planet. I am not aware of a project in the world in brittle environments without including livestock, where trees are reproducing on their own and it has a good long term chance of success. You will find bare ground and therefor a poor water cycle. Tap rooted plants far spread out do not hold soil in place, you need grasses for that.

@@viharsarok Being that brittle environments are prone to fire, trees has to be able to reproduce on their own when burned, and this is where grasses and grazing animals come into play. If you just had a bare cap source, which tend to happen after a fire, the conditions for new trees to grow are absolutely terrible. If you have grasses though, which can comeback after a fire (not multiple fires consistently every year, at least not the good quality ones but some species can), you now can start to make better conditions for new sprouting trees to grow big, with the grass improving the 4 ecosystem functions in cooperation with the grazing animals. Here is a link explaining the 4 ecosystem functions/processes, absolutely vital new science in the field of biology. managingwholes.com/-ecosystem-processes.htm/

Paper plates have been made for hundreds of years... Paper pulp is paper in water... With some tree glue if you wish... How would people have figured it out.. Well ppyrus has been around for a long time.. and so has writing on leaves or observing leaves when dry and then made wet stick to each other. 500 years ago there were very advanced societies with intimate connection with the ground , air, water, plants and animals. Its useful to pick up a anthropological book from a physical library near you to see amazing things people did. (Sadly.there are only few books not written from a euro centric supremacist outlook on the cultures... And this have sometimes an undertone of describing primitives... Instead of pioneer communities. What can you do with such a reference (allow your brain to go into entropy and envision how you yourself can learn from 500 years technological knowledge.(Aka "how to" from pre 1492... 😊
