Even if they don’t fix anything over the current prototypes, it’ll already be more accurate than the Blitzway model, so there’s that. I backed 2, so I could have the 1 and 1A on display.

If they were really going to make any significant improvements or changes, I expected at least a digital prototype update before the campaign ended. When that clearly wasn't going to happen, I decided it was time to pass on this Haslab. If it does dramatically improve, maybe then I'll consider buying one at that time, on the aftermarket and for a bit extra.

I wouldn't take what they say literally about the accuracy. Emily and the others are literally toy marketing people...they aren't(and the designers) are not part of the replica fandom.

I'm going to dedicate an entire display case to Ghostbusters. With the LED logo. I have ordered 2 Ectos. Once the Basic model and the Deluxe Edition. In one row is the Ecto 1 Basic model with the Mezco GB figures (I hope they scale with each other because Mezco is also a 6 inch figure) and with the Hasbro dogs, Slimer, Dana, Gozer and the library ghost for the 1st part. The next line will consist of the Ecto-1a Deluxe, GB Hasbro with their dark suits, Louis and Vigo with his hologram image for the second part. And the next series will consist of "The Real Ghostbusters" Mondo and the villains. I hope that we will get an Ecto-1 in the future. I'm also a fan of the Afterlife movie, but not so much that I need the kids' characters. Hopefully we will also get a 6 inch Garraka figure in the future

I look forward to the video showing what should be fixed.. I'm a big fan but not Into the tiny things on the echo but curious. For the price it should be extremely close!!! probably ninety percent of people won't notice the little problems. And yes after life was pretty decent but the kid thing still bothers me. Frozen empire, Too many worthless unnecessary characters/side stories,, Rudd Tooo silly etc.. I did kind of like it the first time though..but Second time..ughh.

The only thing I hope they address is that the spotlights on Ecto 1 should be pulsing and they need to switch the light bars on the Ecto 1A. Hopefully it’s just because they are prototypes but it should still be called out.

I tell people that I feel that Frozen Empire was more like a cartoon episode, and is more setting the stage as a new jumping off point to go in different directions. Also! Completely forgot but check your email to see where your ghost trap ended up! :D

I agree, if they are working with experts then they definitely have to fix things but in saying this its still an incredible toy and will make such an awesome display 🙌😊

If they do a tim Burton movie with the storey of Tim Burton I think Timothy from wonka should play him. True story of Tim Burton call it the life of Tim Burtons career they both got the same features and I do think that would be great

The haslab game isn’t worth playing anymore.

At around $1,000 cheaper than the Blitzway Ecto-1s, I think this Hasbro offering is well worth it. Yeah, it's not perfect, but nor was Blitzway, and Hasbro is going to have a full year to make changes and improvements to these early prototypes they're displaying. As for whether or not it will back successfully, nearly all of the Haslabs have had a big last day jump in backers.

This just needs to be sold anyway, there is zero reason for this to be a haslab!

I'm baffled by the legless roof racks as well. And I'm surprised nobody has questioned them about this either. It's also hard to imagine how the scale of the car or the added electronic features would necessitate this. One other thing I haven't seen them address is how the louvres on the hood and rear door only appear to come with the Base version Ecto-1. They are missing on the Deluxe version, which is fine if you only want to display it as an Ecto-1A, but it means you can't really do the full conversion to an Ecto-1 like they claim you can.

So happy to find someone else that's also bothered by the rear end of this Ecto. The door and back end definitely should be more rounded all over, especially at the top and corners. And the bottom "fin" of the rear quarterpanels clearly goes too far down. The reverse lights also are a bit too small and lack the curve and taper that extends the curve of the rear quarterpanels. And even though this is a toy first and foremost, given how much they've bragged about their attention to detail, I don't understand how this section of the car can be so off, nor do I see how any of these discrepancies could be justified by "playability" features of the toy.

if they had 2 separate cars for like $400 and did the figures as unlocks I probably would have done this. They arent any better than the current ectos they offer to be honest

Drop the Price ! 249 and it will be backed! Mondo charges 250 a figure. Haslab 370....where is this going? Yes it has lots of details but is still plastic in the year 24! Nothing special here. They invented the lights! Yes led lights the same with the hiss tank. Are lights worth it? What if they don't work? Are you gonna fix it or send it to haslab 😅

I decided to back one, mainly because I didn’t want to miss out. That said, I wouldn’t be too disappointed if it doesn’t get fully funded. Hasbro has already provided the Ghostbusters community with some fantastic Haslabs projects.

I think i'm gonna cancel my extra one. If not both. I'm sure it'll fund but it might not , which would be just fine by me. Tons of ectos out there, Not as good but still o k. Kind of sick of haslabs. Time waiting, delays also, cost etc.

Sadly, I'm losing faith in it backing. Unless they end up doing something crazy. The other unfortunate piece to this, is we gain nothing by it failing. I think its a last ditch effort to keep the line alive. If it fails, I think its a wrap.

i got money put away for both the basic and the deluxe version. If they go though great...in a year ill have a wonderful display piece for both of them and the figures. If not...so be it. Im hoping it gets pushed over after thanksgiving!

Has labs are interesting because they don't take your money until the last day of the campaign. So I actually pledge in every single haslab. But I've only purchased three. After haslab get fully backed I would cancel my order. I think everyone should just go ahead and back these things and then cancel it before they bill you. This way if they have unlockables, everything will get unlocked. And you still would have a month later to decide if you want it or not. It's just simply playing the game that hasbro created
