Old movies are all I watch these days ...thank goodness for them. Black & White rules .... Every set a masterpiece with the use of shadows and lighting . Thanks !

One of the funnest movies available. This is my second time around after a few years. Love the old thrillers taking place in a mansion. This one is amusing and creepy, the wise cracks abound!

Good stuff, pretty enjoyable. Some funny lines and the phone trick was pretty cool! I think it’s the oldest one I’ve ever watched, 1931. Thanks!

Love it. Pure entertainment, no social significance, no political foolishness, no hidden agendas. Hollywood fell victim to taking itself too seriously.

Excellent piece, very slick and sustained. Funny how some of the old movies are so amateurish but others are well put together like this one. Thank you!

I don’t think it’s bad! I’ve seen it a few times because I like Lyle Talbot! I love the old movies!!!

Fuzzy but enjoyable. Denny is always watchable, and Patricia Farr was cute as ’Stupid’, sadly died of cancer in her 30s.

I like Edward Arnold, and most of the cast, but the script with an overweight beer hound who rarely if ever leaves his apartment is rather a put-off.

Constance Bennett is so good in this!! She, and her sister, Joan, were two very excellent actresses. And her chemistry with Basil Rathbone in this romantic "game of thrones" was perfect. Thanks for sharing this. Loved it.

Good story. Good movie. Poor sound quality, sadly.

Thank you for this version. I MUCH prefer the non-colorized, original version of these old B&W films. Astor & Powell make a great team; different from Lombard & Powell in chemistry, and always watchable.

It’s a phone call in the middle of the night to please come over, he says I’ll be over as soon as I get dressed. Shows up in a three-piece suit.

Uploader why are you constantly putting links to people in the description of your videos, people who weren't even born when the film was made eg what has Cher got to do with a film which was made over a decade before she was born 👎👎🙄🙄

When I was a kid in the 60s, the shopping mall had a puppeteer, and we loved going for the shows. Young people today have no idea what they are missing when they spend all their time glued to their phones. Thanks for this happy trip down memory lane, even though the story was dark. Always love seeing John Carradine!

Brilliant with the pair of goofs and the man/ woman connection. Great little movie. 😊As audiences became more complex, plots were forced to become more complicated and over worked. Conversation becomes unnecessary and overused. Same with effects. Its wonderful to relax with simplistic plots, fun characters and interesting conversations with movies like these. Brilliant thank you
