Great work, just found your channel. Greetings from HOT Arizona. I was wondering what air brush you use and what kind of air pressure settings you are using for the fine detail work. Thanks!

Were all the fine details brushed instead of airbrushed? 10:33

If I were to assemble this model! I made a wolf pack conversion kit and installed it on the left and right sides of the fuselage, and I would like to paint the 'lace [striped expression]' with an airbrush using the Korean 119 helicopter version! 0:18
@beyoungheouneohАй бұрын
119 If you want to express it as a helicopter. The fuselage was first airbrushed white, and when the white paint dried, masking tape was applied. Then, stripes [lace] were painted on the top and bottom of the fuselage with red paint. Once the paint was dry, additional masking tape was applied to the top. After painting the stripes with yellow paint, you can express it as a 119 helicopter! 0:23

I have a quick question where did you get the kit from I looked everywhere but it’s not there

Thanx much for the really nice build. FWIW, German a/c this period were well maintained. Even in desert, the a/c had fitter covers to keep sand away. Except in highest wear places, like wing walks & crew seats, chipping/flaking was not an "issue" with RLM paints, an early form of synthetic resin paint. Nothing like the chipping issues of Japanese and, to a lesser extent U.S. lacquer paints.

thanx for presenting a stellar easy to understand tutorial for a beginner such as i am.i plan on brush painting my plastic scale models with acrylic primers if needed and apply multiple coats of acrylic paint as needed. using quality paints and paint brushes,cementsmaybe using spray can clear cost as neededi have subscribed.

I'm finishing assembling it these days. I stopped counting the errors in the instruction manual (decals indicated with the wrong number, decals upside down, pieces to be carved or drilled without this being written, etc...). Despite this, it's a really nice Memphis Belle...

You can brush AK acrylic glossy varnish on Vallejo colors without varnish making base coat wet again? :O I have used Tamiya acrylic clear on Tamiya acrylic black and it acts like a paint remover :S What's the catch here?

God you nailed it. What's the 'wash' for? Cos you're not really washing it

Thanks a lot for this video. You show what is possible without using an airbrush, although you are using (thinned) airbrush colors. Great work! Can‘t wait for the next parts.

I realise this build is 3 years old now but I have just got one of these kits and I am almost ready to paint the Berlin camo, so I was looking for tips. You have done a great job and I hope I can do as well. One thing I didn't enjoy with this kit was building and fitting the tracks. I just couldn't get them to look right and in the end I spent many hours drilling and pinning each link to make them proper moveable tracks, however I see you can get metal tracks from China as an alternative..

Very nice work, thanks for explaining the steps in painting and washing, where can one find the little wooden handled fine paint brushes that you are using for the small details? Thanks!

Fantastic effort! I have this same kit, but I am going to brush paint it with Vallejo acrylic paint. Starting with a Revell Stuka first as I haven't built a model since I was a teenager, and the Stuka looks like an easier build to begin with and learn from the mistakes I'll make!
