Wow you don't need so much cement to hold down a tile unless the floor is uneven..it is always best to skim the floor level so you cut down on tile adhesive 4mm tooth trowel for floor tiling is enough to hold any extra large tiles

Question: why do they tile the entire walls where the cabinets are installed even if there is a wood backing?Particularly if you have tall cabinets that start from the ceiling. In the USA we only do a backsplash where the stove or sink areas. Is there any reason why tile is on all the walls?

Had similar challenge on my project. The trap system installed on the project was S-trap. I improved P-trap WCs but i was lucky enough to figure it out before plastering so we changed the system.
