@samswi_ yeah, idk why but a whole buncha ads just showed up as soon as a song ended or as I unpaused the video.

@@vulpi8236 i just opened this video in incognito mode and ad showed up immediately. Which is weird because that didn't happen, when i tested that some time ago. Well, i don't know if thats a bug or is it intentional(youtube do be greedy lately), but i guess i will change the title for now. P.S. even though the ads are showing up now i haven't made a single penny out of this vid :')

I'd say : you programed it so that the wolves colors change acoording to their coordinates. And then associate the coordinates with the shapes of the original bad apple ? No Idea how to do so specifically, just trying a guess about the idea behind how you did it x) Fun video !

yeah, something like that 1. scaled video and exported frames with ffmpeg 2.made a python script that iterates through each pixel of each frame 3. if pixel is on the frame is different then on the previous frame: write coordinates of the frame with color 4. if the color was close to white: assign 'pale' wolf variant , if close to black assign 'black' variant 5. output it as minecraft functions

@@samswi_ Got it. Yeah that second step must be the part that costs the most in processing power I think. Could you do it in the reverse way ? 1)For every frame, check wolf's coordinates, 2) check the corresponding pixel on the reference frame 3) assign the color according to the average ? I mean it would be more coding lines, but you might be able to make it run easier/make it run larger. But as i do not know minecraft coding and it's interactions with python, I do not know if that's possible. (also since the wolfs don't roam, you could pinpoint less pixels than every single one of them.) Am I thinking too much about a small youtube video of minecraft and bad apple ? Yes Do i love it ? Yes Am i a math teacher thinking of how to get my students to pay attention in programming class ? Absolutly x)

@@salmonroe5608 it would be possible, but it would require modding the game code. the thing is that minecraft can NOT interact with python in any way. So what i used python for is to process pixel changes to minecraft functions, which are basically a sequences of minecraft commands So when python detects a pixel change beetween frames, it then outputs into minecraft function: (pseudocode here) change wolfes at coordinate {x, y} to color: {color} Each function corresponds to a frame, and has beetween 0 and 6912 commands that correspond to each pixel. Then when i generated the functions with python i made them run sequencially in game While this might not be space efficient(functions took over 330MB when generated), it is better for a larger ammounts of wolfes. Having 2000 wolves checking a pixel 20 times per second(1 minecraft tick is 50ms) could be a performance nightmare, and would be near impossible with official minecraft tools (such as functions)
