I know what do you mean about how this one plods on longer than it needs to And the thing I have found with the Dune books after the first one is that the plot might be very good, but each page of the story can be kind of unnecessarily confusing. I have finished the third book and i have some questions. Please, no spoilers for the books ahead Why had duncan intentionally killed javid? Was it to force stilgar into killing him and out of neutrality? If so, then why? What was the whole thing with beur agraves? Did stilgar kill him only for them be captured by alia's men? Why was the preacher killed? And on whose side was the killer? Was he some fanatic or was he some priest of alia? Also why did the sandtrouts choose Leto? Or did leto do something to attract the sandtrouts?

Exactly!!! I'm a longtime reader and this book and Michael were my FAVORITES!!! Charlotte and George were the best couple to come out of the TV show and I was saying that Fran and Michael were the only ones who had the chance to rival them and now I'll never get that and will never get to see my favorite couple and character on screen and that sucks 😭 And on top of that, in my sadness and disappointed I'm also constantly accused of the vilest things when none of that is true or related to why I feel this way!

Percy Jackson wasn't disappointing, I, along with other book fans loved the show. Ofcourse not everything will be exactly like books, but they did a pretty good job with the show.

Another viewpoint is that Adam died at the beginning of the film. His ghost leaves the building when the fire alarm sounds and looks up to see Harry's ghost. If you notice, the lighting behind Harry flickers, like the neglected tv in Harry's room, that Adam finds, later on in the film. Harry's ghost yearns for a connection and randomly knocks on Adam's door. Adam politely rejects Harry. Many people think that Harry is alive, up until this point and then returns and drinks and takes drugs and overdoses, that night. Adam's parents (who are also ghosts) appear to guide Adam towards the afterlife, but once they are aware of Harry, they encourage Adam to make a go of it with him (maybe he can make Harry 'a bit happier'). Adam's parents say they have each other and they don't want Adam to be alone. Once Adam says goodbye to his parents, he goes directly to Harry's flat and makes a shocking discovery (Harry's unalive body). Adam then retreats to the living room, when he encounters Harry's, visibly upset ghost. After reassuring Harry that he's not alone 'in there', they both go back to Adam's room and to bed. Now that Adam has learnt how to love and be loved, he and Harry, disappear into the night sky, to become a star, together, forever. This film is stating that, it is never too late to learn and make a connection. Loneliness, doesn't have to last, forever.

This is a very good, very thorough review, of a fantastically, haunting film.

I actually enjoyed this one. Did anyone else think Tegs escape and Matrix like second vision was all part of the T-Probe? I thought for sure he was going to wake up with the thing still attached to him. I thought they were using it to get him to go to the different locations in his mind. He had that whole little moment with déjà vu as well, like he had been there before. I thought that was going to be the reality, all of these places that he thought were safe, but had enemies, were safe until he ran to them on the other simulations..
