I had already watched theo-t3s video on this shift but this video gave so much more understanding and therefore value as someone outside the core react community.

Would be great to see motion working with SveletKit. Integrating it with Svelte's Actions API could be very powerful

I ran into some issues where the card that manages to return true to the isFront var goes to the bottom of the card stack, if you are having the same issue just add "zIndex: isFront ? 1 : 0" to the style that of motion.img in the card component, that should bring the card back to the top

Please do some vanilla JS, would be very very interesting! I would love to use it in like Astro or something like GSAP so that I don't need to use React all of the time D:

So basically, there will be no innovation or new things added to the React version, so sad. I don't think he will ever get the same success with the native JS version, people already using Gsap, and they are very happy with it. I think he should focus on the React version only to make it the BEST it can ever be and set himself apart from all libraries. Doing multiple things at the same time is never a good idea. He will spend his time building adapters, maintaining and fixing bugs across all platforms... It's a big fail, IMHO.

Agree to some extent. GSAP is great especially Vanilla JS. I have used Framer with React and its good. Should keep supporting it in that space.

Drag leave is triggered on the column when dragging cards over child elements of the column... anyone else experiencing this? Its causing the column background color to flicker when hover over other cards.

As you are the only person on the internet who made this work: Do you perhaps know how I can make a carousel draggable in Framer (not Motion) with a Code Component / Override?
@calvintai895016 күн бұрын
Hi Tom, can you make a pull to refresh component using Framer when the content overflows the screen height? I got it working when the content doesn't overflow, but when it overflows it doesn't work. Curious to see how you would solve it. :) Thanks for your awesome vids!

What do you think could be the reason for some of my animations to be choppy for the first run and then run completely smoothly?

With Framer motion, my website's performance test on desktop is 100%, but on mobile it's only 65%. The animations are kinda laggy on phone and I had to disable it on mobile view. I wish there were a solution for that. Framer motion doesn't even provide any strong solution for disabling animations on mobile oe any other specific breakpoints especially when working in Nextjs projects where you have to think about SSR and CSR.
