She seems genuine and sincere but a bit out of touch. We are 8 never has any adverts or you get 10 in one day and none for weeks. To become a creator you have to show your followers and work on Instagram etc.. Which to goes against what we are 8 stands for and stifles creative freedom. So they are still using algorithms, just not there own. I have been on the app daily since day one and made just over £20. So it's very lack lustre and not really worth the time. You can't claim to be better and more ethical then these sites when you sue them to prop up your creators. I have ben using the app for a long time and I'm losing faith in it.

What’s the point if there are never any ads available to watch and earn money from?

There are no vids anymore, haven't been for weeks, why? I log in amd check 8-10 times a day, and before there were usually most around 1-2am (like 6-15 videos), but there was always at least 1-4 almost every time i logged in to check any time of the day. But now 0 regardless of when, amd its been like that for over a month now.
