Let's accept it for what it is! Acceptance - not resignation! Now that you have recognised the issue - you can work with it. I will run a 5-day sugar detox in January 2025 where we take a deep dive into the topic. The past does not equal the future!!! neffinspiration.com/courses-classes/

Yet, whatever wiring we got, once we realize how we tick, we can be aware of it, instead of our subconscious sending us into a direction we don't want, or which does not serve us!!!

I had the honor of working on a small part of this book and can attest that the material is not just practical, helpful, and creative, but relevant, scientifically based, and given in a way that is manageable and easily added to any kind of lifestyle. The beautiful layout was one of my favorite parts as I am extremely visually led. I do judge books by their covers and this one met and even exceeded all my expectations. I have started implementing many things since reading the book and feel like I am more aware of my peace, joy, and inner happiness.

The problem is that 80% of the things you buy in a supermarket should not be called food. Food is defined as a substance that provides your body with what it needs to live life to the fullest. Most packaged items don't really fit this description!

There is still glucose (the monomer-sugar) in dates. So still a high peak of insulin right after consumption. I love dates and such, but the “good” sugar you find in dates and similar is just sucrose, the standard white granulated sugar you find in the supermarket. I hate that people say that the sugar in fruits and dates and honey and stuff is better than granulated sugar (without high fructose corn syrup), because it isn’t. It’s both very important for your body and very bad in masses. Nothing against the rest of the video. You need the package around the sugar. It is the package that makes the dates healthier than swallowing a tablespoon of sucrose.
@neffinspirationАй бұрын
Dates have a low glycemic index (GI) because their natural sugars are balanced with fiber, which slows digestion and prevents rapid spikes in blood sugar. Unlike refined sugars, the fiber in dates helps release glucose more gradually, providing steady energy without the sharp rise and fall in blood sugar levels. This makes dates a healthier option for sustained sweetness. Look after yourself!

I'm glad she got away BUT a lot of times , telling a victi m just to leave is the worst thing you can do, because when they try to leave , they usually have NO where to go , the abu ser has made it where they have No have No where to go, and like where I live No one is going to let you stay with them, Not family, Not friends, and churches will never help you, and A lot of times the shelter for women has people that the ab user knows like in a small town. In a small town like here where I live homeless is a death sentence , one guy died from being homeless before I got here. If you just leave with nowhere to go, you will be homeless, I wish people would understand that and quit telling victims just to leave, it would be better if they would just be their friend , and help them out.

Hi, there. Thank you so much for your comment. I am sorry to hear about your story - I assume that there is more than a bit of truth behind your words. Here in New Zealand we have places such as the women's refuge, which helps women to get out of dangerous situations. Equally, churches and other organisations are willing to put their money where their mouth is, although that means resettling in a different part of the country. There are ways out, although none of them are easy and your life will be changed forever. Yet, there is hope!

You both sound so much like me! I have a lot of the same background, which has done wonders for my own self and clients I serve. I agree with so much - especially not being a fan of the label "survivor," which is why I write and speak about Getting Past Survivor. I personally don't like to name what that place is when we get to the other side of survivor because it's unique to everyone. Good to have heard this conversation.

Agree around the 10 minute time stamp agree with Hannah I think the previous private public world boundaries have eased into public but self worth & value has always been not taught. The previous society was morally regulated & policed. Now that has eased. Internet has enabled private to become more public. The mental healing of therapeutic modalities are still outside culture & many are unaware of their value. That needs change & requires state funding & professional effectiveness tracking

What a deep and meaningful reply. I appreciate that! With the use of social media in 2024 our life has forever changed. I remember amazing parties I organized in the 80s where there was an understanding that no pictures were taken and we all had a tremendous time, including the next morning when we came back together for brunch, and were surprised who returned with whom. There was a gentleman's agreement in play and we all had a great time. Nowadays, 80% of teenagers send or received dick picks, and people are surprised about their privacy being displayed for everyone to see. At the same time, trauma is at an all time high, at least the way is nowadays admitted to. We need to create an environment in which men can be masculine, women feminine and non-binary humans can be free to express themselves in the way they want. We need to assure access to treatment modalities without judgement. In fact, if I was in power, I would mandate that every teenager would have to go into rehab for 28 days. There is so much we don't teach our children - it is time to change that, both on a family level as well as through schools and later on in life!
