Okay so you don't cross the left and right hand on that E7 in measures 2-3 either. I wonder why it's written like that? For the C# in measure 6? It's not really "resolving" it.

Jag blev introducerad till det här stycket av Tiffany Poon för några år sedan och är så van att lyssna till hennes tolkning att det låter som om "alla andra" har så otroligt bråttom när de spelar det. Intressant hur man vänjer sig vid saker och hur det påverkar hur man ser på det.

First of all, congratulations for such a very good rendition, quite accurate and with your personal touch. I am discovering this wonderful music by Peterson-Berguer, where some melodies and progressions remind me at times of Debussy. He seems to me far ahead of his time with an avanced harmony

Here's a beautiful example: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r324ZaqdqdWdfdU Good but in 0:30 it shouldn't be rolled. You see there's a 1 sign that means play the two notes with your thumb. So you should play a sharp and c sharp with your first finger. Dunno why everyone loves to roll that chord

Thanks for your input. Yes that’s correct you should play the two notes with your first finger according to the sheet music as you say! Unfortunately in my case I can’t reach that chord in right hand without hitting a lot of wrong notes so I think rolling it is the best option in that case.

Personally I can't actually stretch that far with my small hands, so I have to roll it. But yes, it does sound better when not rolled.
