After being runner up in the the most distinguished competition for classical musicians in Sweden, Solistpriset 2016, pianist Christopher Hästbacka has established himself as one of Swedens most interesting young pianists of today.
Christopher is a prizewinner in several national and international piano competitions. He has also received scholarships since many years back from the Royal Music Academy in Sweden and in 2016 he received the Marianne & Sigvard Bernadotte Art Awards. In autumn 2018 he was invited to Tokyo to represent Sweden in five concerts during the celebrations of diplomatic relations between Sweden and Japan.
Today Christopher is based in Stockholm and work as a soloist and chamber musician in countries around Europe. He has played with the Swedish Radio Symphony orchestra and worked with conductors like Jaime Martin.
