35:55 Amazing P5 horn on BCOL 4621

On July 23rd, 2017, BCOL 4621 was heading east through Amsterdam, NY Amtrak Station leading CSX K652 with an amazing P5 horn. 4621 is a C40-8M that was repainted into CN's paint scheme due to the lack of old barn units in the BC Rail fleet. Although most C40-8Ms from CN and BCOL do have class lights on the front (6 of them to be exact), 4621 had his class lights removed when it was repainted into CN colours. The C40-8Ms serve the CN for years until the summer of 2021, when Norfolk Southern bought CN's C40-8M fleet and was repainted into black and white NS colours to put it on the NS roster. The C40-8Ms to be delivered to Norfolk Southern are numbered from 7800 to 7846. In July of 2021, Norfolk Southern will do a test run of their new black and white ex-CN C40-8Ms on the company's OCS business train that no longer runs with F units since they were sold. NS number 7800 and 7801 (C40-8Ms) will be painted into the brown paint scheme with the Norfolk Southern Horsehead logo painted gold and yellow to mean that the first two former CN C40-8Ms will be assigned to the NS OCS. NS C40-8Ms #7800 and #7801 will be the ones that will replace the four F units on the company’s OCS train. After 7800 and 7801 test on the OCS, the first two NS C40-8Ms will be permanently assigned to use of the NS OCS, while units 7802 to 7846 will remain in black and white and will be assigned to freight trains on the NS. On June 2nd, 2021, all of CN's C40-8Ms will be sold to NS to continue running cowl units in the US and Canada. Norfolk Southern will be the first American Railroad to have C40-8Ms by then.
