Some of the worst advice I got from “Dr Phil” was “to know what you want is knowing what you don’t want” wrong! I practiced that and ruined my life because all I attracted was what I didn’t want and never had clarity on what I do want. Glory be to God that I am learning now what I want and will stand on that. Knowing what you want is by practicing knowing. Periodt

So if the dating apps aren't keeping 'fun' & 'knowing things will work out' active within you, is that indication you should abandon the apps altogether?? Is the goal to keep those feelings active primarily for the purposes of manifestation? Struggling with this cos the apps seem like the best approach to meet ppl, but at the same time I hate the process since so many matches seem only to be after one thing. It's not fun at all.

Hey. I understand. I would say that if the apps are triggering low vibe feelings, maybe just take a breather from using them while you work on your vibe...it's all about your vibe...Can you think about going general? Being easy about it. Trusting life. Allowing yourself to enjoy good feelings about things other than meeting "the one". I found my husband at a time that I totally released the idea of finding "the one". I just started enjoying each date for what it was...focused on having fun. Eventually, I found someone that was really fun and I just kept choosing to have fun with him again the next time...I had no idea where it was going, I was just having fun. Hope this helps. You got this. Relax and allow.

@@katiesoussi22 Hey, thanks for sharing your thoughts & personal positive experience on this. Yep, I do take breathers whenever I start feeling jaded (often 6 months at a time 😂, 2 weeks on, 6 months off lol). Maybe I'm way too serious with it, cos in the past I've felt having fun & being playful often leads to inappropriateness (from the men) & attracting in guys who aren't seriously interested in anything long term or just looking for casual hookups, which is just a no go. So now I'm trying to be more discerning as I feel like time is of the essence. I won't be my usual flirty self, more a subdued version. However, that's probably more exhausting! 😕 With the apps too, I find I'm forcing myself to be more open to guys I wouldn't necessarily go for if I'd bumped into them whilst out n about for eg. So I'm basing a lot of my 'likes' on bios and not just what they look like. But that's also back firing cos then when we do match and start convos, it's literally no fun at all, cos in the back of my mind I'm thinking ok... He's got a good job, he's educated, sounds good on paper.. Etc etc.. Like ticking the boxes. Urghhhhh. It's all wrong. You're right, I'm gonna try the full on fun approach with zero expectations. Got one life, might as well enjoy it, even if it means by my lonesome right 😁🙌💕

I came across such a comforting piece of information today. Esther and Jerry did not meet until she was 36, and they had a love for the ages. I’m 35 and I feel so much better knowing it can still happen for me.

I found my husband at the age of 42. We met online and he was 4000 miles away in another country. It was such a powerful connection we got through a long distance connection, then immigration and eventually 20 months later, after I had visited him a year earlier, he came here and we got married and are now together over 9 years. I was completely dating the Abraham way. it works!!!

This is absolute gold!!! The person asking the questions could literally be me lol, I have been feeling this way 100% around romance and dating apps! Abraham’s responses always make so much sense, and instantly help me feel better about myself and validated in why I feel this way 💖 this has given me the clarity and peace I was seeking. Thank you so much for sharing ~ you rock and have made my Thursday afternoon a lot better! (After a night of tossing and turning worrying about this ) Thank you! 🙏 😀🙌
