I will be playing Twilight Princess next once I finish Wind Waker. I haven't tried the remakes yet. Was interested in getting the Breath of the Wild on WiiU just to check it out. I have played Skyward Sword HD on the Switch and it is pretty much the same, you have to use the motion controls otherwise you lose the ability to control the camera angle effectively.

Exactly and odds are Cloud WILL TAKE 9999 damage from it since I'm sure in FF7 its counters here are based on TOTAL enemies killed so odds are IT will do 9999 damage but all of its attacks are 1 hit kills.

I still had 9999 HP 999 MP and knights of the round used on the Carry armor boss BUT I still beat the ENTIRE PS1 version in ONLY 35 hours NOT OVER 100.

After I would save I would just leave the game on and not turn it off and apparently that time counts towards your game time.

By lv 60 I had Cloud Barret Cid with 9999 HP 999 MP AND Knights of the round used to kill the Carry armor BOSS instantly with it for these battles ONLY summon it and MIME it if the ENEMIES are immune to the death effect OF the FInishing touch limit else spam that limit for 1 turn kills. On the PS4 remaster the GOD mode cheat makes the 0 MP losing slot Harmless your MP with automatically jump back up to 999 MP if you land on that slot.

It is a sure fire strategy. My plan was to get at least 3 master materia of each type just because it felt like an accomplishment. You can also user counter linked with mime a bunch of times and that is rather broken also, lots of counters withe KoTR.

That too but that's really only needed against Emerald/Ruby weapon since you need a minium of 8 to 10 KoTR's to kill both of them but for the arena battles just 1 counter mime is good eniough. But other then the Master Master AFTER you beat Emerald weapon I don't bother even a 3x AP rate weapon after killing Both Emerald and Ruby weapon with KoTR will NOT have it mastered at all.

I would never slog through this game, the base game. Im glad I did that at a young age and still didnt know what good games played like. Ff7 ... Is boring. Like no joke, its just a playable movie that you occasionally fight in. Right from the start your character can one shot every monster you can fight in a random encounter, and the game basically plays itself.. I mean you'd have to literally sit the controller down to die in the beginning. :/ Other than that, the characters having no statistical difference from one another just sheds off another layer of what could have been implimented well. The materia takes away too fucking long to rank up. You're not going to have a Master All materia from normal play, maybe the first one you start with.. but the abysmal rate by which you earn "ap" is just... Horrendous. It should leave based on use, and let us target all monsters for 3x mp usage just get rid of the All Materia all together. The potions heal your entire health bar right out the gate, so you dont even really have to mess with materia if you dont want. Cure basically heals less than the goddamn potion. The whole game is like a huge clusterfuck of halfassed ideas, and half baked ideas that got lost in translation... Its a good game for someone with poor attention span and doesn't really like "friction", in their gaming and just want to play without having to use any bit of your brain.

New threat 1.5 and 2.0 have me so spoiled man. The only way I will play base FF7 is with Survivor Romhack, it lets you keep areith for example. And some other changes. Like that's also one thing that bothers me.. here , this great amazing healer who has good limit breaks that aren't just Kill X Y Z.. by the way we take her away next disc so don't get too attached. 😢

I kind of agree, KoTR basically breaks the end game. You are guaranteed to win with it. Thats why I made sure to beat Ruby and Emerald (granted it is KoTR+W-Summon+Mime repeat) first before beating it. I will say as a kid I never beat Ruby weapon, this was my first time.

About that I KoTRED Carry armor to death at lv 60 and YET IT ONLY took me 25 HOURS to actually USE it on that boss on the PS1 version the PS4 remaster has a God mode cheat can't DIE if you don't TAKE 9999 damage at lv 60 and still beat the entire game in only about 15 hours WITH using KoTR on the PS4 remaster Carry armor onwards.

for the normal enemies I only used it really on Tonberries both the final dungeon ones and the ones via the Battle Square battles but I still beat the entire PS1 game in only 35 not 100 Hours.

Gets very tricky later on and timing on certain things becomes huge. Some stages require the entire time limit to beat because of platforming.

I'd love to hear your level of frustration playing this. I'm all kinds of nostalgic for old games, but sooooo many of them from this era were simply terrible. I feel bad for the kid that got this for Christmas and couldn't get past the first level. A rental title for sure.

Very frustrated. You can't tell by looking at some objects you can't fly over them, so it took a couple times through to figure out where I could go, then you have the inconsistent hits. Sometimes I could fly past the squadron of jets then other times I insta died. Not to mention the lack of a way to kill the guns on the ship (at least I couldn't find one) and their projectiles just swarming around you, sometimes hitting sometimes not.

ha I never heard of Uridium so I did a search for it and this is what I found: Uridium (released on the NES as The Last Starfighter) is a science fiction side-scrolling shoot 'em up originally designed by Andrew Braybrook for the Commodore 64 Looks like it is Uridium.

The stage kind of reminds me of Star Fox 64 when you are in all range mode, you hit the edge of the map and it automatically turns you around. This does the same thing on each side of the stage.

Also it is very easy to steal and also very easy to foul. You have to notice immediately when you feel resistance moving in one direction to go the opposite or you get a charge/push.
