I worked there till it was closed, you have only your grandparents for the closing, the only people that used it was from Edinburgh and Glasgow areas that kept it open then they all went to foreign countries, so here’s hoping you use it.

Here’s hoping that they put in double lines at the terminal so they can run steam trains so that the engine can run around the coaches, and it would bring back the visitors from Edinburgh and Glasgow at the fair holding times.

This is wonderful news we need the regeneration of our rail network, I hope here in Wales people will have the same vision to regrow our railways.

Potential to link up with Glenrothes distillery for (local and foreign) tourism promotion? Genuine variety of district attractions really counts in that regard.

@@just_some_guy_innit Thank you. I don’t always bother to check the details when a whisky comes from outside Islay😁. Have a good week.

Good luck with that. We lost our rail link in 1970 and ever since there's been a push to restore the service here. I've only been as far as Kirkcaldy and walked a little section of the Coastal path, but it is a grand area.

Although I don't and never have lived in Scotland, but I am really glad that this is happening. To get your rail service back after all these years is tremendous and I am really glad for the people of Leven. Keep us updated I for one would love to know more.

It’s a no brainier as most young people will not be able to afford never mind run a car 😫 Hopefully more reinstatement of rail is the future 🤩

Seems a good return for £77 million. Meanwhile down south the East West rail project between Oxford and Cambridge has hit the buffers. Budget now over £6 billion and now in doubt. No surprise really.

Think it now nearly doubled that figure 🤔

I was telegraph lines man there for 2 years up till it closed, and still very interested in the progress it is taking and hope to be at the opening soon to bring back all my great memories of my past railway career of 47 years service.

I was back at Cameron Bridge and Leven today and was not very impressed with the look at them the old days you could walk with ease, but now it’s very difficult to cross the road ,car drivers make it as hard as possible for elderly people crossing.I worked at the station till it closed.

If the people at Leven and around there supported when it was there it probably would’ve still been in use today, as I am now 90 years old,and still interested in the progress off the work being done.
