@ShiningTimeStacking18 күн бұрын
You can get one for about $730 right now. I wonder if with Trump winning the gold price will go back down as there will be less fear. Would you keep it in the plastic? I kind of wish I did, but it is way Shinier when taken out. :)

Yeah, it's a good looking coin. I have a few of the 1.5 oz. silver types, but wouldn't mind picking up one of those 1/4 oz. gold types either.
@ShiningTimeStacking21 күн бұрын
Nice, i don't have that one in the silver. I do have a 1/10 oz version of a different year polar bear, still in plastic. I bought this one a couple years ago from Liberty Coin it was like $550, now I see them selling for like $720! Do you think I have lost any value by taking it out of the mint plastic? Maybe, maybe not. Probably would only get melt for it anyway, and if I sold it on Ebay, they take 13%, so about the same. It is definitely way more shiny out of the plastic. I wonder if this video will get a lot of views, the plastic is like the biggest topic in stacking, lol.
@newenglandstacker20 күн бұрын
@@ShiningTimeStacking Yeah, probably melt or a little over. That said, I don't think any value is lost with it out of the plastic.

i bought a 20g perth mint bar sealed from a reputable dealer and when i asked him to scan it using the XRF gun, he did but it showed it was 95.8% gold through the plastic packaging, he said this is normal, and it wont show 99.9% gold through the plastic, is this true?
@ShiningTimeStacking22 күн бұрын
That is a good question. I honestly have never tried scanning any bar, always bought from reputable dealers as well, but depends on what you mean by "reputable." That sounds like a Local Coin Shop, so anything is possible. I stick to the big bullion dealers online.

Nice bro...did you just start collecting this year?
@ShiningTimeStackingАй бұрын
@@Millennial_Stacker I started about 3 years ago when the world really started going downhill. For a little while some things got cheaper but now it all proved to be a wise decision. For example, these 100g sheets I paid like 129 for and now they go for like 179. How about you?

Glad you enjoy this eye candy! I am surprised this video isn't getting many views. 1/10 oz Gold Coins are the best option for sure, especially with the current spot price! I paid like 220 for each of these a few years ago, now they are about 280, at least.

@@trentsuveges7622 I agree. I don’t have much from them just that and the 1 oz of silver shot. I have their eBay store in my saved sellers list. I seriously wonder how high the price of silver will go.
