Do you know how freaking satisfying it is when you’re able to track down a 20+ year obscure memory from childhood, and then it’s presented crystal clear to you? It felt so great to finally track down the source of one my cherished childhoods games from mostly forgotten & obscure memories. Ah, such a great nostalgia trip.

This game was really bad, even as a kid.

this game was such a disappointment. well over hyped by nintendo magazine back in the day, the graphics and sounds were no where near Zelda 64, the overall experience was just a massive let down.

Man i loved this type of simple story- telling games on the DS, brings memories back even though half of this type of games on DS are shovelware games.

Very very good gameplay. Not literally perfect but not coked up either. Very chill and consistent pace with no fat in-between. Watching it in bursts. Enjoyable I would say. Good job

I’m not sure if there are sounds that bring back my childhood more than this game. I can recount the time and place that I played this on a regular basis-in the spare bedroom at the back of the ranch while visiting my aunt and uncle on yearly trips to North Carolina.

Merely six years since the Nintendo 64 first released, this game was the very last title to be released for the console.

I remember this game & still think about it. I had a friend get it for his Xbox for his birthday, & I wanted it also, but since I didn’t have an Xbox, I got it for DS. 🥹

My version for a N64 port of this game into: “Banjo-Threeie ( Banjo’s Solo Rescue )” Grunty’s skull was fallen, and broke to the ground. Then her spirit has set free, and her sisters built a Robot version of her. Then Kazooie has been Kidnapped by Grunty’s robot, and uses her robot to brainwash kazooie to thinking she never met banjo. She also brainwashed his friends into the same way, and it’s up to Banjo to save them, and rescue Kazooie in Grunty’s new world she turned Spiral mountain to. Even though Kazooie has a jerky attitude, but they noticed it’ll never be the same without her. Jamjars helps banjo with upgrading and teaching moves. ( one of em helps banjo fly with his homemade feathers ) Mumbo is playable once again.
