Wow, the Indo-Pacific is like no other place on Earth, and you’ve captured its underwater beauty perfectly! The vibrant coral reefs and incredible marine life left me speechless. Anyone who loves the ocean should see this video

Beautiful video, however, I do think the background music is too loud. It was a little distracting when trying to listen to your narration.

Thanks. This is a HDR video. I noticed some weird color are more apparent if you watch this with a non-HDR display. Some redish coral are enhanced by underwater white balance and are difficult to avoid when considering the correct color of far background.
@holgeripsen10 ай бұрын
I watch it on different HDR 10Bit devices. It is all the same. I got the same issues in post production. I have used Sony catalyst for pre cut and colour grading and stabilisation. Than I imported the files to Vegas Pro and I got the same false colour by rendering into 2020 HGL or 2020 HDR. I had to change in the options of the imported files to the main content to Sony BT 709 colour in that I recorded the original files. Than it went alright after rendering. So the cutting Program didn't recognise the original colour profile. Maybe you like to check and I could help you up a bit. Best regards and thanks for the great Footage Holger

@holgeripsen I have played it on my Samsung 8k QN900A TV, galaxy z fold 5, and Apple macbook m1 max, but I can not see any issues. Do you mind offering a photo taken by a camera so that I can confirm if we are on the same page?
@holgeripsen10 ай бұрын
I didn't see the issue anymore. I guess KZbin had a render problem the first 24hours after the video was posted. Now everything is looking great!

Wonderful footage Johnny! But something went wrong in your post production. Where is a way to much red colour in this movie. I guess you set the outcome colour profile wrong.

Hi I just came across this video of yours while trying to find reviews on the Keldan 4x. However id like to start with 1 and then further increase 2 as I primarily shoot photos. Would you possible have a video using a single Keldan light? thank you so much. By the way I love the video and the editing

bubffm Hi Bubffm. Thanks! Did you use magenta filter in your setup? I am eager to know what kind of magenta filter is appropriate. Is Gates internal flip filter for green water a good choice? This footage is my first works of underwater video and I have many questions on this setup. Hope we can share experience with each other. Thanks in advance!
@bubffm8 жыл бұрын
Yes, I use the "green water" magenta filter sold by Gates. Its made by URPRO. it helps to avoid the greencast one can sometimes get with the AX100 in AutoWB

bubffm Thank you for your appreciation. My neutral buoyancy is not good enough so I used a tripod to stabilize the housing when I shot the pygmy seahorses.
@santsupanitayanon4837 жыл бұрын
Hi John, I also use Gates AX100. May i know what tripod you are using? The one made by Gates are really pricey so I am looking for a third party one. I have been looking at several camera stores but those are not corrosion proof :(.
