I have my carpets and pads pulled and drying as we speak. This is like the cheapest & poorly designed pressure-vent system ever. Good grief!

There is an updated cab vent that has a significantly better gasket ... at least for the 4th gens.

Correction on that power on off light it is not 12 V it is 120 V AC the 12 V DC output I was talking about actually goes to a cooling fan that I mount it in the back of the amplifier case so the on off light switch is 120 V ac switch that I have hooked to the power from the outlet coming into the amplifier box.

If you go to parts express where I purchased the amps they have the wiring diagram online. I’m out of town this week but I’ll drop a video next week of exactly how I’ve wired mine.

Can you please explain how you hooked up power LED's to the 1000asp? Did you hook up using Vcc (+12V) and Vss (-12V)?
@diytonyl8244
@diytonyl8244 3 жыл бұрын
The amp has several VC outputs one of them is 24 V I bought a step down converter from Amazon which dropped it to 12 V. The lightest switch runs on 12 V. Next week I’ll drop a video and show all the wiring

I guess I would consider myself an audio file. But I always try to purchase my equipment on a budget. The icepower amplifiers sounds great to me. They are replacing an NAD receiver. Mid highs and base are much better.I think some of the sound quality may also come from my preamplifier. I read another review on the icepower amps and that person said they had the same sound quality as a para sound A21 which retails for $3000. I have about $700 in my build. Well worth the money in my opinion.

@@sanjeevkumar-hx4hi I don’t have any type of equipment that would measure sound frequencies. All I can tell you is they sound good to my ears. You can go to partsexpress.com and read more reviews from other customers that have purchased this amplifier.They also may have frequency response charts that you could read. I’m sure every sound system would vary depending on your preamplifier your room set up and your speakers. I do build my own speakers and crossovers which I believe is much better quality than some of the big box stores speakers. I have a pair of Klipsh speakers that I do not use anymore because the ones I’ve built in the room in my video sound better in every way. If you’re considering buying some take all those variables into consideration.

Just found you. Thanks for the info. I assembled two 200 ASC mono blocks. The sound isn't quite as hefty as my class a Sony ES amplifier but bang for the buck they're hard to beat

I was using and an NAD Receiver probably 12 to 14 years old 70 W per channel. This blows that away of course with power but also clarity base response. I’m quite satisfied with these boards. One review I Read said they compared to a para sound A21 amplifier That retails for $3000.
