Asian food is awesome. For me, I love Thai but I eat and enjoy food from many regions around the world including BBQ (i make my own) and southern USA food in general. I love Japanese, Swiss, tex-mex, eastern European including Russian. Who knew that straight vodka works so well with borscht? I am leaving out so many wonderful flavors including Malaysian food and Indian.

Fort Smith? Gastronome? Who knew? ME! Fort Smith has many fantastic restaurants. It ain't the Fort Smith of 50 years ago when Mexican food was considered exotic. 😳 Now there are great Vietnamese, Indian, Thai, Chinese, and, of course? Mexican restaurants from which to choose. By the way... Do yourself a favor, When you have finished your dinner, don't forget to stop off at Miss Anna's on Townson Avenue for some delicious pie - the best! Bon appetit!!! 👍

You had better be hungry if you go to Fried Rice. I typically get three meals from one order and the quality is without compare... never greasy and the meat is plentiful. I eat there at least once a week.

Ft. Smith is also my hometown, I haven't been back there since the mid 80's. Looks like the city have undergone a lot of changes.

Very selective cinematography. They let some artists come in a couple years ago and make murals on the side of run down buildings. Garrison has been dead since the mid-90's and is just now starting to gain traction after all the people from Cali moved here during Covid. The rest of the city in both sides of the tracks are falling apart. All the wealth went to NWA, Van-Alma and Greenwood.

Your story has me in awe! I recently presented a ministry to my church called Healing Canvas. God has been tugging on my work smock the last 3 years, telling me, "It's time to go." I've been with the school district almost 20 years this coming New Year. I see my art healing studio in my mind and I know God will make a way once I COMPLETELY TRUST HIM. I'm afraid of letting go of that monthly district paycheck, but the thought of working one more year with the district scares me more because MY PASSION is calling me, and I know if I don't answer it, the regret alone may kill everything that's good in me. Thank you for sharing your story!. It's like looking in a mirror! Blessing to you my sister!
