@ I didn’t mean to sound rude, but I meant that your name is Craig and you call yourself a pastor, but Pastor is a title and there are many teachings against taking such titles that I don’t want to get into. Thanks for replying Craig. Most likely you are a hireling and a corporate officer of a 501 C3 tax exempt corporation. Totally un biblical.

John Scott. He was An angelic a Priest who can absolve sins etc. really ? Small step away from Catholic doctrine. I in no way believe what a fallen man would write about John and the disciples of Jesus in a true light . Let me give a quote about someone I would believe. “There is to be no compromise with those who make void the law of God. It is not safe to rely upon them as counselors. “ ( Selected messages, Book 2 371) We are to pray for them but not go to their seminars or learn from them on how to evangelize or pray. We are not to see their knowledge etc. very dangerous dangerous road that the history you gave implied that John was a hater, so self righteous and proud and also so afraid that a building would fall on Him because he was in the company of evil is ridiculous.

@ParadoxChurchRedlands yeah degree degree degree. But do you have the holy spirit? You don't news a degree. Once you start undermining the word, it all falls apart. God says in many places Jacob i have loved esau i hated. If you put that on Obadiah, then you have to put it on Jeremiah, and Isaiah. And anywhere else it is. Then you have to say well what was holy spirit inspired and what was just the man writing? Then you allow people to pick and choose what they want to believe , Hebrew isrealit. You no what thier saying over there. No, the word has to be solid. God is able to write a book, and he's able to keep it the way he wants it for eternity if so desired. Keep in mind ,I would advise you, your young, and the word will change as you grow. And you'll look back and say wow, that has a deep meaning as well, and I was wrong about that. The walk is like that. I can show you plenty of double mean8ngs triple even. And they would both be right. I dont know if you no God, things are changing and fast. But ask, He'll tell you. But the word has to be solid. Written by God and kept by God. Cant go another way.

Malachi 1:3-4 [3]And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness. [4]Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.

I am struggling with the foundation of your message. While I agree with all of your conclusions (that it is good to be human, that God is good, that creation is good even with suffering and death); I think your foundation is not as deep as it otherwise could be. Jesus Christ is the author of our Faith. He is the foundation. He is the cornerstone. A gospel without Christ is no gospel at all (John 15:5-7). Many religions may have heathy spirituality, but only Jesus (not Christianity) leads to eternal life. Rom 8:3-4 For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. The person of God in Christ Jesus unifies the two seemingly unreconcilable ideas of creation laid out in this sermon. Our sinful flesh is bound for hell without God. But because God is good, He has revealed Himself to every single human being. We are not without God. God is with us. But it is through Jesus Christ that we can have this reunion with God and who separates us from God. He isn't saying that God is sick of us or is waiting for us to fail, His own flesh and blood prove that He knows our struggle and our shame and that He values being Human.

This is about clothing because different cultures around the world wear different things. This Bible verse is obviously speaking about transgenderism. If a man were to go to the women's section and buy pants and a shirt, everyone would know he was wearing women's clothes. Just because they're pants doesn't mean there's no distinction between women's and men's fashion. If I, as a woman, went to the men's section and bought pants and a shirt, people would know I was wearing men's clothes. We are called to be modest and not try to appear as the opposite sex. So, if I wear a women's dress suit and women's pants, that doesn't mean I'm cross-dressing.
@ParadoxChurchRedlands
@ParadoxChurchRedlands 2 ай бұрын
But who decides what makes a certain style of clothes "Female" and another style of clothes "Male"? At the end of the day, it's all just fabric, resting on human beings. And we believe EVERY human being is made in the image of God (no matter what clothes they wear).

We are living in the last days & we must worship God in Spirit & in Truth. The Holy Bible & ancient history line up perfectly together. We can look at the history & know that Jesus was a black man. The Bible describes him as having bronze skin & hair like wool. The Hebrews were enslaved in ancient Egypt's unforgiving climate for 430 years. The Bible tells us that God called Egypt "the iron furnace." The Hebrews did not mix with other races after they were set free. They were forbidden to do so & Mary's ancestry did not break this Law. The wars out of Europe are what brought other races in to that part of the world. Wars from 673BC forward w/Assyria, Arabs, Turks, the Ottoman Empire, Rome, Greece, etc. This is what makes up the 20th century Levant/Middle East. These are the ppl/skin tones frequently used to describe Jesus as "Olive Skinned", Swarthy, etc. & it's not true. He was black, just like the rest of the Hebrews. Before the wars, it was Cannan, Babylon, Mesopotamia- all ancient African history. These countries became Palestine/Israel, Iran, Iraq, etc. only after the wars that destroyed Africa. The claim that African Americans are making about being the descendants of the Hebrews is also inaccurate. The real descendants of the ancient Hebrews are the Ethiopians. Some of them still speak Amharic & they have the oldest Bible in the world; all translations originate from this Bible. Modern day Jews converted to Judaism. There was only one race enslaved in ancient Egypt.

You have no idea what you're talking about, what Jesus is saying about the division between father and son and mother against daughter is when some parents might follow Jesus and their children reject Him or some children might follow Jesus and their parents reject Him, that is what that passage is about, families will divide because of following or rejecting Jesus, the other passage about turning to his disciples as family has nothing to do with the other passage. You're giving people a false message here, you're twisting everything that stands in the Bible, you can't twist these words and say Jesus makes mistakes, He is perfect and does no wrong. I hope so much these people find a real pastor who gives true messages. The Bible and Christianity is against homosexuality, don't exalt pride, you're a disgrace to Christianity if you think you can do this. Change your outlook and actually learn the Bible correctly, change your life and follow Jesus. How can you use the Bible and disagree with what stands in it? You can't use your imagination and imagine everything. That's not how this works, you can't imagine stuff and use the Bible next to your imagination. You are really showing the traits of a false prophet.

I dont think Noah gathered all animals, I believe the world was so wicked that Noah was told to preserve the names of the animals, as well as the church which was the ark. I think the flood was the prefigurment of baptism, they washed themselves with the holyspirit as they traveled the seas for a new home.

Isiah 56:4-5: "“To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, who choose what pleases me and hold fast to my covenant- 5 to them I will give within my temple and its walls a memorial and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that will endure forever." For the commenters who didn't watch the video before they decided their opinion, the Bible always has more to tell us. And after the Bible, there's the saints. St. Thecla and many, many saints after them were females who dressed in men's clothing, cut their hair, and did men's work, and were sainted for their works. Like Jesus said, "you shall know them by their fruits."

@ParadoxChurchRedlands 7 ай бұрын
Hi there! I am assuming you are a Christian. I want to push back on this comment because I think to say, "There is no way..." implies that you do no recognize the image of Christ in our Muslim siblings. Part of the Christian journey is being able to recognize the image of Christ in every person we encounter, including people of different faith traditions. This is why I have no problem saying that if Jesus lived in Saudi Arabia today, he'd probably be a practicing Muslim, self-critique the religion of Islam, and also fully participate in Islam. -Craig

@@ParadoxChurchRedlands Thanks for your reply Craig. I welcome your pushback. If Jesus will be a muslim then He would contradict Himself as Islam contradicts Christianity in its core and most fundamental belief that Jesus is the son of God, and this is what I meant by there is no way He will be a muslim. Jesus died for our muslim brothers and sisters and appears to them in visions and dreams. We are all His children and He will do whatever it takes to be bring us in closeness with Him. Knowing first hand what the religion stands for, teaches and practices, as I am originally from there, I can not picture Jesus being a muslim. It's possible that this belief is due to a personal bias from a personal experience. To me, it sounds like He will go to the fire/darkness with His children but He will not stay there He will take us out.

What is also remarkable to me is that not only does God see us in our suffering, God is drawn to us to offer comfort because it. I can imagine the throngs of people rubbing against Jesus in the crowd. There were definitely many touches on Jesus in the crowd, some even to his skin, his arms, his neck, his hands, tags on his clothes.....and yet, when Veronica reaches out in faith and touches just the hem of his garment; THAT is the touch Jesus recognizes and acknowledges...and he puts a spotlight on her, this woman who her entire life since her first menstruation was forced to live in the shadows...and he cherishes her.

Leviticus 18:22 "Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin." (NLT) Leviticus 20:13 "If a man practices homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman, both men have committed a detestable act. They must both be put to death, for they are guilty of a capital offense." (NLT) 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 Don't you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat peoplenone of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Timothy 1:8-10 Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully, understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine ....
