I would be much more inclined to subscribe to your channel if you described WHY you are doing things rather than merely listing WHAT you are doing.

You can create non-destructive booleans by alt+L clicking the Add icon on the top toolbar. It will then create a Compound Layer where you can use both text and vector shapes to create the full silhouette with those leaves. Plus it gives you the option to change the letter A to something else down the line. If you then drag that Compound Layer to the right side of the thumbnail of the leaves image you will then mask out everything without the need to duplicate the image multiple times. If you want there to be see through outside of that image you can then use the Rectangular Shape Tool, mask that to the image along with the Compound Layer, and then finally group both of them together. Now if you change the opacity of the rectangle/square vector shape you now can control the seethrough on the sides while keeping that Compound Layer silhouette intact. Requires a lot less layers and makes everything easier to edit.

Great job. I have ditched Illustrator and have become a big fan of Designer. Looking forward to more tutorials from you. You can make each episode based on a project and then you can take us through the steps. For example you can start with a Logo Design, Banner Design, Card Design....
