This is the way we're intended to live. Cities and office jobs go against everything in human nature.

Always loved the outdoors with my family, catch and release fishing my entire life but always hesitant to harvest animals for food, this movie helped disarm a lot of my apprehension. You have a beautiful family!

I have mixed feelings about hunting or fishing. When it comes to hunting animals on land I kind of feel sorry for them but when it comes to fish I am okay with it. Kind of strange. You guys feel similar?

Wants to get the most he can from hunting but breasts out his ducks. Had to talk a little crap but honestly I'm very impressed with this lifestyle and philosophy. If only I didn't have to work 55 hours a week I might try doing the same.

Such an inspiring short film that I’m so glad showed up for me. 2 huge takeaways from it that really resonated with me: 1: Never let anything stop you. Things will come up along the way in life but never let those slow you down and rather than changing or affecting what you love, include those things and let them help shape who you are and what you love. 2: There’s so much out there to explore and make use of and to get out there and take advantage of how much there really is to offer. Thanks again for taking the time to share with us.

What is that sling you use for the rifle? It looks like something I need. I have so many slings and haven’t found a good sling yet.

Your in nature a lot. I live in a small town but work full time in an office. There is something missing when you are stuck inside.

I really enjoyed this video. The filming, content , pace and story are well done. I’m curious about smoking, canning and dry aging meat and fish rather than using a freezer. It seems like that would be a tastier, less electricity, more secure and all around better way to store the harvest. Can anyone share there experience with preserving after a hunt?
