Keith doesnt need to act, because johnny preestablished Keith's persona into the film by basing Captain Jack Sparrow after keith. Johnny did such a wonderful job at introducing keith, all keith had to do was walk in. The moment you saw keith, you knew thats Jack's dad. There was no other person on earth to play each of these parts. It is johnny who set the scene and keith to finish it. Check and check mate.....game over.
