Thankyou for posting this film. For seven years, I camped close to Llyn Brenig and fished out my holidays there. I took my fly tying gear and tied the appropriate flies. Llyn Brenig is the most amazing place. For me, nowhere like it. A gorgeous, beautiful, peaceful place, away from the myther and ear ache of life. My circumstance changed, and I miss it so much. I hope I'm lucky enough to go back, one day, and witness the magic of Llyn Brenig again. Thankyou x.

This is one of the most informative vids I have seen, top class. Can you tell me what percentage of fish you take on the booby or blob compared to the more imitative patterns.

As you can't get a ticket until the shop opens, fishing first light isn't an option unless your'e poaching

Be nice to think there was a system of trust where you could post your name address EA licence number mobile number and car registration details thru letterbox early morning and announce your intention to visit the shop later same day. Then fish on trust. Could that work?

does the "glass" aspect of it really make a difference?

Some great tips 👍, I would be interested to know when you would choose to use a straight slow glass (intermediate) over a tip line with the same sink rate?

Great video! I'm sure that these aren't the only flies you ever use but I noticed that several classes of flies like damsel nymphs, bugger-type flies like the Humungous and buzzers were not included. May I ask if you generally do not use those patterns or what percentage of your time on the water features the flies you highlighted here? Thanks!!
