It's a fantastic album, but in some songs the mixing is not the professional it should have been be to be considered a masterpiece .The voice was recorded very low volume in two or three songs. Perhaps that's the reason why it's not considered as a total highlight, as it should be. Some solos are incredibly good, and I really like the bass lines of fred smith, as in television songs...

I've asked several people this question, but I never got any real answer--did any of Pete's 1964-66 recordings get any airplay? I know they weren't played in New York, where I lived, but who's to say that one or two of these records were minor hits in Columbus, Ohio, or someplace else?

I'm embarrassed to admit I'm just hearing this for the first time now. Marquee Moon is one of my fave LPs. Wish I'd have listened to this earlier. Wonderful guitar (of course) but I love the song writing and the vocals to boot. I'm passing this one along to a bunch of friends. Now I need to grab a copy of this LP!

Andy White was brought in to play drums on this. The Producer felt that the Pete Best Combo drummer was not professional enough.

The Radiant Monkey le siguió seis años después.

A great album. Very surprised by it after my first hearing in 1974 , very far from the Elektra's great...or Vindicator. But the magic of Arthur quickly hooked and convinced me .He could have a fantastic return with this one if only he did not decide to self sabotage his career, once more. But Arthur remained Arthur ...and is immortal , at the end of the day.

His style was to be quirky , and not take himself that seriously . Thats why his 1970's work seems like a shrug of the shoulders .

I'm SOOO Happy to find this posted, I was a HUGE FAN back in the day of PIX-102 (during the New Wave era *Elvis To Elvis*) and remember hearing: Richard Lloyd - Alchemy first on that station, believe it was Meg Griffen who played it, and fell in love with the song, so it's nice to finally hear the full album from which the song comes from, and enjoy more of Richard Lloyd's music!

False start and forever changes are P-E-R-F-E-C-T from start to finish. This and Lee's solo albums not so much but still amazing! It grows on us. I. Love Arthur Lee's voice!! I really do and this has only one less song, the first one, from that on is huge! Oh and his guitar is a killer. Talking about genius. You can find it in LOVE
