Sadly Earthblade is cancelled. Its a huge loss for metroidvania fans. Given how good Celeste was this was bound to be a nice game.

Monster Hunter has ALWAYS been about living in harmony with nature, and the specific monsters you hunt are the problem monsters that threaten humans. EDIT: There's no way Hollywood Animal is going to be accurate. They'll never have the guts to include abuse rings and the Casting Couch and the drug parties of Hollywood.

Same reason Silksong will never release, they are afraid to offer a game that is not objectively better than the first, that is, that all the players for the first, consider as good or better than Hollow Knight. If the game was more Hollow Knight, one part of the fanbase would be happy, the other wouln't; if the game was different to HK, then then same, one part of the fanbase would be angry or disappointed, and the other happy. There's no way a sequel to such popular game can be universally acclaimed. Dark Souls 2 is proof of that, it's the best of the three games but most people just hate it. Blasphemous 1 is the best metroidvania ever made but the Game Kitchen were not afraid to make a sequel that improves some things and changes others, making a really good game that is clearly inferior, but being smaller in popularity than HK, it didn't affect the devs, and really no one hates Blasphemous 2 or the Game Kitchen.

Well if i made a Celeste Successor, i'll make It a Metroidvania about a global being named a Sphero.
